What Prime changes—and what it already includes
Prime lowers the advertised Individual Unlimited rate by $1 per month: the landing page lists $11.99 per month for Prime members and $12.99 for non-Prime members. Amazon Music Prime is already included with a Prime membership. Amazon describes it as an ad-free catalog with selected on-demand All-Access Playlists; Unlimited adds broader on-demand access and additional audio formats. Prime therefore includes a music benefit, but it is not the same as an Unlimited subscription. Amazon’s Music FAQ explains the distinction.

Individual
The confirmed current rates are for the Individual plan. Amazon describes Unlimited as offering listening across devices, with ad-free, on-demand access.

Family
Amazon’s FAQ describes a Family plan with separate accounts for as many as six people and up to six simultaneous streams. The current Family price was not confirmed in the newer pricing material, so do not rely on amounts shown in older pages.
Student
Amazon describes a discounted plan for students verified through SheerID who are currently enrolled at a degree-granting college or university. Eligibility is time-limited. A current Student price was not confirmed.

Single Device
Amazon describes a Single Device plan designed for one Echo or Fire TV device. Its current price was not confirmed. Amazon’s subscription-management help says it can be started through supported Echo voice signup or Fire TV settings; an existing Unlimited subscriber may need to cancel before switching to it. Annual billing
Amazon’s help page says annual Unlimited plans are available exclusively to eligible Prime members. Check your account’s subscription settings to see which billing options are offered to you; a current annual rate was not confirmed in the newer landing-page material.

Why older Amazon prices may not match
Amazon’s FAQ includes a dated 2025 notice listing different rates: $10.99 monthly or $109 annually for Prime Individual, $11.99 monthly for non-Prime Individual, and $19.99 monthly or $199 annually for Family. It says the new prices took effect January 29, 2025, with existing subscribers seeing changes on renewals on or after March 5, 2025. Those figures explain why older pages may differ, but they are not the Individual prices shown on Amazon’s newer landing page.
What the subscription includes
Amazon describes Unlimited as providing access to 100 million songs, ad-free and on-demand listening, offline downloads, HD and Ultra HD audio, and a growing spatial-audio catalog. Amazon characterizes HD as 16-bit with a minimum 44.1 kHz sample rate, and Ultra HD as 24-bit with sample rates from 44.1 kHz up to 192 kHz. The audio quality you receive can depend on your network, device capabilities, and settings.

Amazon says spatial audio can be played through its iOS or Android app with any headphones. Special headphones are not required to subscribe.

The landing page advertises a 30-day trial for eligible new subscribers. After the promotional period, the subscription automatically renews at the rate shown at signup until canceled. Confirm both the trial and renewal price in your account before accepting the offer.
