The published non-member Diamond price is $282,000. These are event sponsorship contracts, not general CNCF donations; packages combine marketing benefits such as exhibit space, passes, branding, and lead retrieval. The May 2026 prospectus set an August 14, 2026 contract deadline, which has passed. For any remaining 2026 opportunity, confirm current inventory and terms with CNCF before budgeting or signing.
2026 CNCF sponsorship prices
The November 2025 prospectus published the following 2026 flagship package prices. The May 2026 prospectus repeated them. Amounts are package prices; the prospectuses do not establish that every package or benefit is available at every event.

Pass and lead-device counts come from the November 2025 prospectus. Prices are stated in US dollars in the prospectuses. The startup/end-user/nonprofit option is listed only at the member rate; the published table does not give it a non-member price. Confirm eligibility for that package with CNCF.

The listed member prices are about 16.7% below the corresponding non-member prices for Diamond through Silver. That is a sponsorship-price difference, not necessarily a net saving: CNCF membership dues are separate, and Linux Foundation membership is also required and invoiced separately.

What the sponsorship tiers provide
Higher tiers generally exchange higher fees for more exhibit space, passes, visibility, and lead capacity. The prospectus benefit matrix includes turnkey or raw exhibit space, logo placement, promotional emails, opportunities in official news packages, opted-in attendee registration lists, physical lead-retrieval devices, media or analyst participation, and limited speaking options. The published information does not establish a complete tier-by-tier booth footprint or assign every one of those benefits to each tier; consult the prospectus for the particular event rather than assuming a benefit from the tier name alone.
- Exhibit presence: Packages may include turnkey or raw exhibit space. Verify the actual footprint, format, location, and any event-specific conditions in the current prospectus.
- People and leads: The table gives complimentary pass and lead-retrieval device counts. A device is not a promise of a particular number of contacts. Registration-list access is described as opted-in attendee data, not an unrestricted attendee database.
- Brand and media: Logo placement, promotional email opportunities, official news-package opportunities, and media or analyst participation appear in the benefit matrix. Eligibility and placement depend on the package and event.
- Speaking: Sponsorship may include limited speaking options, but sponsorship does not guarantee a talk or control the program. Content must meet the call-for-proposals criteria and receive program-committee approval.
Diamond inventory is first-come, first-served. CNCF says it may adjust benefits and the number of sponsorships available, so a published package is not proof that inventory remains open.

How CNCF membership affects sponsorship cost
CNCF says members receive discounts on KubeCon + CloudNativeCon sponsorship, company-logo and Interactive Landscape placement, and access to certification or partner-program applications. The flagship price table shows member and non-member sponsorship rates for Diamond, Platinum, Gold, and Silver; the startup/end-user/nonprofit package is listed only at the member rate.

Those figures are CNCF-only Silver dues, not the full cost of membership: Linux Foundation membership is required separately and billed separately. Since CNCF membership tier, Linux Foundation dues, eligibility, and event sponsorship pricing all affect the total, compare the applicable invoices before treating the member sponsorship rate as a net discount.

The May 2026 flagship prospectus required signed contracts by August 14, 2026. That date has passed. The North America sponsor page describes five flagship KubeCon + CloudNativeCon events in 2026, while CNCF also hosts or co-locates other events. Prices, inventory, contacts, and deadlines should be checked for the specific event and geography; do not assume the flagship schedule applies to every event.

The 2026 China combined-event announcement gave a different signed-contract deadline, July 17, 2026, and directed sponsors to [email protected]. That deadline has also passed. The May flagship prospectus instead lists [email protected] and a contract request form. Use the contact route for the event you want, and ask whether any inventory remains and whether contracts can still be accepted. The available published information does not establish post-deadline availability.

How to pursue a 2026 sponsorship
- Choose the exact event and location. CNCF’s events directory identifies CNCF-hosted events and points prospective sponsors to the sponsorship prospectus. CNCF’s FAQ also directs interested organizations to download the prospectus for current sponsorship opportunities.
- Read that event’s current prospectus. Check its package prices, benefits, availability, eligibility, contract deadline, and applicable contact. Do not rely on the flagship table for a different event.
- Ask about remaining inventory and contracting. For the May 2026 flagship prospectus, the listed contact is [email protected] or the contract request form. For the announced China combined event, the listed contact is [email protected]. Confirm the correct current route before sending a request.
- Confirm the deliverables in writing before signing. In particular, clarify booth format and footprint, pass allocation, lead retrieval, opted-in data access, branding and media eligibility, any speaking-related benefit, and what happens if CNCF adjusts benefits or inventory.
- Submit the signed contract by the event’s applicable deadline. The published flagship and China 2026 deadlines have passed, so a prospective sponsor should first establish whether CNCF will accept a late contract.
Which package may fit your goals?
- Targeted presence, recruiting, or a smaller activation: The $12,000 member startup/end-user/nonprofit package may be relevant if the organization qualifies and its event-specific benefits fit the goal.
- More space and a larger team presence: Compare Silver through Diamond against the actual booth footprint, included passes, visibility, and lead-retrieval allocation for the event. Do not choose on tier label alone.
- Media or speaking goals: Check the package’s stated eligibility, but plan speaking content through the CFP process. Sponsorship is not a substitute for committee approval.
- Multiple event geographies: Treat each event as a separate decision with its own inventory and deadline; the five 2026 flagship events do not establish identical opportunities at every location.
