Bulk website screenshot APIs can cost from a few dollars a month to hundreds or more, depending on volume and billing model. Public vendor examples checked on October 3, 2026 include $79/month for 50,000 captures from ScreenshotInk, $500/month for 625,000 from Site-Shot, and prepaid rates as low as $0.0008 per shot on certain ScreenshotAPI packs. These are advertised USD prices, not quotes or an industry average; confirm live pricing before buying.
What should you expect to pay?
There is no single market rate for bulk captures. The examples below illustrate how plans differ: some sell a monthly quota, some sell prepaid credits, and some charge by usage. A low per-shot figure is not directly comparable to a monthly plan average or an overage rate.
| Provider | Published price example | Billing and capacity details |
|---|---|---|
| ScreenshotNeo | Free: 1,000 shots/month; Starter $5 for 3,000; Growth $15 for 15,000; Pro $39 for 60,000; Scale $99 for 250,000; Business $249 for 1,000,000. Yearly billing gives two months free. | Monthly quotas; requests beyond quota return a quota error until reset or upgrade. Bulk and asynchronous jobs are available, with per-key rate limits and account-level simultaneous-render limits. All features are on every plan. Only clean shots are billed; bot checks/CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits cost nothing. See the pricing page for current details. |
| Site-Shot | X-Lite: $5/month for 2,000; Lite: $15/month for 10,000; Optimal: $50/month for 50,000; Professional: $500/month for 625,000. | Listed overages are $0.0025, $0.0015, $0.001, and $0.0008 per extra screenshot, respectively. X-Lite and Lite include 10 dedicated workers, Optimal 25, and Professional 100. Saved-image capacity is separate from capture allowance; deleting an image frees storage but does not restore capture credits. Site-Shot pricing. |
| ScreenshotOne | 100 free screenshots/month; Basic is $17/month for 2,000. | Basic lists 40 requests per minute and $0.009 per extra; the vendor says it charges only for successful requests. ScreenshotOne pricing. |
| ScreenshotInk | Scale: $79/month for 50,000 captures. | Bulk runs of up to 20 URLs; extra credits are advertised at $5 per 1,000 captures. ScreenshotInk pricing. |
| ScreenshotAPI | Metered billing is listed at $0.001 per shot. Prepaid options: 2,000 for $2; 5,000 for $5; 10,000 for $9; 25,000 for $22; 50,000 for $40; 100,000 for $80. | The 50,000- and 100,000-shot packs imply $0.0008 per shot. The available page extract gives conflicting free-quota amounts, so verify the current allowance rather than relying on a specific number. ScreenshotAPI pricing. |
| WebsiteScreenshot.io | Flexible package from $3/month for 1,000 credits. | Additional screenshots are listed at $0.003 each; enterprise pricing is custom. The paid flexible package includes website/API access. WebsiteScreenshot.io pricing. |
| Add Screenshots | Advertises self-serve plans scaling to 1.5 million screenshots for $2,406/month. | Also advertises 100 monthly free screenshots, all capture regions, and no concurrency caps. The full tier table is not established here; check the live slider quote before estimating a particular volume. Add Screenshots pricing. |

How to estimate your monthly bill
Start with the number of captures, not just URLs
Count every requested variant. If you capture each URL at multiple viewport sizes, device profiles, locales, or page states, each may count as a separate screenshot or request. Establish the vendor’s billing unit before multiplying.

Windows Recommended Requirements - Microsoft Windows 10,Intel Core i5 CPU 3.40 GHz or higher, 4 GB RAM, 200MB of free hard disk space, 256MB of dedicated video memory (For lag-free live streaming up to 1920 x 1080, and video recording of 1920 x 1080)
Use the vendor’s billing model
- Monthly quota: Start with the plan price and included captures, then add any priced overage. Confirm what happens when you exceed the quota.
- Prepaid credits: Divide pack price by credits to find the implied unit cost, and check expiration or rollover terms.
- Metered usage: Multiply expected billable captures by the current per-shot rate.
A useful first-pass formula is monthly cost = plan or pack cost + billable captures above included quota. Add separately priced storage, retries, or higher-throughput capacity. Then calculate effective cost per successful capture at your expected volume; do not treat an included-plan average and an overage rate as equivalent.
Example calculations from listed prices
- At Site-Shot Optimal’s listed $50 for 50,000 captures, the included-plan average is $0.001 per capture before any storage or workload considerations.
- At ScreenshotInk Scale’s listed $79 for 50,000, the plan average is $0.00158 per capture before any extra credits.
- ScreenshotAPI’s 100,000-shot prepaid option is listed at $80, implying $0.0008 per shot for that pack.
These simple divisions do not normalize success rates, storage, throughput, expiration, or other plan differences. Apply your own expected billable volume and requirements.

What matters besides the price per screenshot?
Billable outcomes
Ask whether failed loads, bot blocks, timeouts, and cached responses consume credits. ScreenshotOne says only successful requests are charged. ScreenshotNeo says bot checks or CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits are not billed, and responses identify the page verdict and billing status in X-Page-Verdict and X-Billed headers.
Storage and retention
Capture quota and saved-image capacity are not always the same thing. Site-Shot describes a library that can hold up to the same number of saved screenshots as the monthly capture allowance; deleting a stored image frees capacity but does not return capture credits. Check retention and deletion rules wherever screenshots are stored.

Throughput and deadlines
A cheap plan may not finish a large batch by your deadline. Compare requests per minute, concurrent workers or renders, batch size, and whether asynchronous jobs queue work. Site-Shot lists dedicated worker counts by plan; ScreenshotOne Basic lists 40 requests per minute; ScreenshotInk Scale supports bulk runs of up to 20 URLs; ScreenshotNeo offers bulk capture of up to 100 URLs per call and asynchronous jobs, subject to account limits. Add Screenshots advertises no concurrency caps across plans. Verify the current limits against the pricing page before relying on them.
Workload fit
Only pay extra for features your job actually needs. Full-page or selected-element captures, geographic targeting, proxy retries, output formats, and integrations can change which plan is practical. If your captures need different devices, regions, or page states, include those variants in the volume estimate.

A practical buying checklist
- Estimate monthly unique URLs and screenshots per URL, including device, viewport, and locale variants.
- Set a realistic retry assumption and decide whether failures or cache hits are billed.
- Record required completion time, concurrency, request rate, and bulk-call size.
- Specify how long outputs must be retained and whether storage is included or capped separately.
- Distinguish recurring monthly quota from prepaid credits and pay-as-you-go usage; check rollover, overage, and quota-stop behavior.
- Recheck current plan terms and total checkout cost before committing, especially at large volumes.
