In Aion 2, Manastones fill weapon and armor Manastone slots, and each row can roll a stat and a quality independently. Choose stones by the content you play, the stats your role needs, and how long you expect to keep the gear: there is no supported universal best-stat setup, and current guides say socketed stones are lost when gear is transferred or extracted.
What Manastones affect—and what they do not
Manastones are for Manastone slots on weapons and armor. They are distinct from Soulstones, which are used with accessories or jewelry, and Theostones, which have their own system and are described by one cited guide as having one slot per weapon. How Manastone stats and quality rolls work
For each row, the cited community guide describes two independent decisions: first the stat is selected, then that stat’s quality is rolled. Rows on the same item can therefore land on different stats or repeat a stat. The available stats and their values depend on the particular stone variant and grade; one stone’s odds should not be treated as universal. In Xtopolis’ example for a Superior Manastone, Attack has a 10% chance of being selected as the stat. The quality stage is listed as 50% Basic, 35% Superior, and 15% Ultimate; the corresponding Attack values are +3, +5, and +10. Combining those two stages, the guide’s example gives a 5% chance of exactly Basic Attack (+3): 10% × 50%. These are figures for that example, not a general promise for every Manastone.

Example: Intermediate Abyssal Manastone
A separate item entry for an Intermediate Abyssal Manastone lists Attack at 6%, with Common 2, Rare 4, and Epic 8 outcomes at 50%, 35%, and 15%, respectively. The entry includes PvP stats in its pool and identifies AION 2 Global version 1.0.21.0, updated September 30, 2026. Its numbers describe that item, not the Superior example above. Which stats should you choose for your build?
Start with your activity and role, then compare the options on the actual stone you can use. The ordinary core pool described by the community guide includes Attack, Defense, Accuracy Bonus, Evasion Bonus, Critical Hit, Critical Hit Resist, Block, HP, and MP. Superior stones add damage-related lines; Abyssal stones add PvP lines and change the chance of PvE lines. A stat’s presence or listed value can vary with the stone’s variant and grade. - For PvE: compare the non-PvP options on the specific stone and prioritize what serves your character’s role and the encounter. Do not assume an Abyssal stone’s PvP lines improve a PvE-focused setup.
- For PvP: consider whether the Abyssal stone’s PvP-inclusive pool fits the content you play. Its odds and values are item-specific, so check the entry for the exact variant rather than importing numbers from another grade.
- For damage, survival, or utility: weigh damage-related options against defenses, accuracy, evasion, HP, MP, and other available stats. A community guide ranks some damage lines above Attack as creator advice, not as an official or class-specific rule. Aion 2 Maps’ guide distinguishes its advice from game data.
None of the cited sources establishes an official English best-stat ranking for every class. A defensible priority depends on class, activity, role, equipment, and current patch; without those details, treat rankings as suggestions rather than a universal build prescription.
How grade and gear lifespan affect the choice
Higher grades can offer different stat options and values, but the upgrade is only useful if it suits the build and item. Guides report that Manastones do not survive gear transfer or extraction. That makes socketing a resource decision: avoid spending heavily on leveling gear you expect to replace soon, and reserve costly choices for equipment you expect to keep. The transfer and extraction caveat is reported by Aion 2 Maps and Codexgames; check the live client before committing valuable items because these are community guides, not an opened official English rules page.

A practical way to decide
- Identify the slot and item family. Confirm that the item has a Manastone slot; do not substitute a Soulstone or Theostone.
- Choose the activity. Decide whether the build is for PvE, PvP, or both, and look at the pool on the stone variant you are considering.
- Set a role-based priority. Decide whether the character needs more damage, defense, accuracy, evasion, health, or another listed stat. Treat broad community rankings as advice, not class-specific proof.
- Check the grade’s own values and odds. Use data for the exact stone and grade. The Superior and Intermediate Abyssal examples above are not interchangeable.
- Consider replacement timing. If the gear is temporary, weigh the reported loss on transfer or extraction before using valuable stones.
