In a separate first-year measure, IDeaS reports a 21.6% RevPAR increase and a 13.5% improvement in Revenue Generation Index (RGI). The figures describe different periods and are supplier-reported case-study results, not independently verified proof that the software alone caused the gains.
What the reported RevPAR figures measure
| Reported result | Period | Attribution |
|---|---|---|
| 20% RevPAR uplift | Q4 2025, after seven months using G3 RMS | IDeaS announcement, carried by eHotelier on 28 September 2026 |
| 21.6% RevPAR increase | First year using G3 RMS | IDeaS announcement, carried by eHotelier on 28 September 2026 |
| 13.5% RGI improvement | First year using G3 RMS | IDeaS announcement, carried by eHotelier on 28 September 2026 |
RevPAR means revenue per available room. RGI, or Revenue Generation Index, compares a hotel’s RevPAR with that of its competitive set. The announcement gives percentage changes but does not provide the underlying values or calculation details. Read the eHotelier case-study announcement.

Why the hotel changed its revenue-management process
Hôtel des Arts Saigon – MGallery is a five-star hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Its official website lists its address as 76–78 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai and says it opened in October 2015. The hotel’s official website and Accor’s property listing identify the hotel.

According to IDeaS, the hotel previously used a legacy revenue-management solution that required staff to review and update decisions manually. That process could slow rate and restriction changes when demand shifted, and overbooking decisions also needed hands-on attention. Tram To, the hotel’s Director of Revenue & E-Commerce, described the problem this way: “When demand increased, it took time to review pricing, implement rate changes, and adjust restrictions. That delay sometimes meant missed opportunities.”

What IDeaS says G3 RMS changed
IDeaS describes G3 RMS as recommending prices and restrictions using demand signals. The announcement also highlights Last Room Value (LRV)-driven yield decisions and automated overbooking management. In principle, these functions are intended to help a hotel adjust commercial decisions more promptly while reducing some manual work. The case study says the system saved time but gives no quantified time-saving figure.
To says: “IDeaS G3 RMS helps us respond quickly to market changes, so we don’t miss revenue opportunities.” That is the hotel’s attributed assessment, rather than an independently measured comparison of staff time or revenue outcomes.

What the case study does—and does not—establish
The announcement presents the performance changes as outcomes achieved while the hotel was using G3 RMS. It does not include a baseline table, explain the calculation method, identify a comparison group, adjust for market conditions, or break down results into occupancy and average daily rate. As a result, readers can understand what IDeaS reports, but cannot reproduce the figures or isolate the software’s contribution from other factors.
Jurgen Ortelee, IDeaS’s Managing Director for APAC, characterized Ho Chi Minh City as a fast-growing urban destination with a dynamic commercial environment. That context helps explain the problem the product is intended to address; it does not independently validate the reported performance.

What hotel buyers can take from the example
This is a single-vendor case study, not a comparison of revenue-management systems. A hotel evaluating an RMS can use the functions and measurement questions raised here as a starting point:
- How timely and complete is the property data used for forecasts and recommendations?
- How does the system support pricing, restriction changes, inventory decisions, and overbooking controls?
- How does it integrate with the hotel’s existing systems, and what implementation and support are required?
- Can staff review or override recommendations, and how much manual work remains?
- Are outcomes tracked over comparable periods, with enough detail to distinguish RevPAR changes from occupancy, rate, market, or other effects?
For the Saigon property, the announcement describes a move from manual review toward system recommendations and automation, alongside the reported RevPAR and RGI changes. It does not establish that another hotel would see similar results.
