Second, confirm destination-side evidence on Manta Pacific: a matching entry in the explorer’s L1→L2 deposits view, a corresponding transaction, or the recipient’s updated balance. Only the second stage justifies telling a user the funds arrived. This guide covers the native Ethereum Mainnet → Manta Pacific Mainnet route and says plainly where Manta’s official pages stop documenting details.
Confirm the network and route first
The official Manta bridge interface presents Ethereum Mainnet to Manta Pacific Mainnet, with Deposit, Withdraw and History views. It also tells users to add the destination chain to MetaMask before bridging. Manta describes Manta Pacific as an Ethereum L2 for EVM-native applications.

Check that your dApp’s provider reports chain ID 169 before interpreting any destination result. Link users only to the official explorer, never to a lookalike.

Verification workflow
1. Record the deposit attempt
When the user submits, store the Ethereum transaction hash along with the source chain, sender, recipient, token, amount and intended destination (Manta Pacific). You will need these to match the destination side later.
2. Check the source receipt
Fetch the transaction receipt from an Ethereum provider. A missing receipt means the transaction is still pending, dropped or replaced. A receipt with status 0 means execution failed. Neither can establish a deposit. A generic EVM check looks like this (ethers v6):

The Manta Pacific explorer has a dedicated “Deposits (L1→L2)” view, alongside transaction and internal-transaction inspection. Match the deposit using the source transaction and the sender, recipient and asset details the explorer shows.
4. Confirm destination-side evidence
Inspect the corresponding Manta Pacific transaction, or read the recipient’s balance of the expected token on chain 169. A balance change alone is weaker evidence if the recipient is active, so prefer it together with a matched deposit entry.

5. Cross-check with bridge History
The official bridge’s History view helps reconcile what the user sees in the interface with the source transaction. Use it as a secondary check, not as your only source of truth.
6. Show separate states in your UI
- Source failed: the Ethereum transaction reverted.
- Source confirmed, awaiting destination: the receipt succeeded but no Manta Pacific evidence is visible yet. Show this as pending, not complete.
- Received: destination deposit or balance evidence is confirmed.
These states are a recommended design inferred from the separate source and destination evidence surfaces. They are not a status specification published by Manta.

Check which route the user actually used
The bridge interface lists third-party providers separately, with this disclaimer: “These are independent service providers that Manta is linking to for your convenience. Manta has no responsibility for their operation.” A deposit made through such a provider should be verified with that provider’s status evidence plus the destination chain. Do not assume it follows the canonical bridge flow or appears in the canonical History view. If your product supports several routes, compare them on four things: provider identity, source transaction result, destination deposit or transaction evidence, and recipient balance evidence.
What the official pages do not tell you
The reviewed official bridge, network and explorer pages do not document a canonical deposit event signature, an exact contract address, a supported status API, a confirmation threshold, a typical completion time, or an algorithm for mapping a source transaction to its destination transaction. Don’t hard-code guesses for any of these. For fully automated verification, get the current contract and event documentation from Manta’s official developer resources and check it against verified deployed contracts first.
Also avoid the GitHub repository Manta-Network/manta-bridge. It describes itself as a Polkadot bridge JavaScript SDK with XCM transfer, so it is not a basis for an Ethereum-to-Manta Pacific EVM integration.
