Clockify’s customer story says Flobotics used its time-tracking reports to show clients the development time behind project charges, while integrations helped the company compare planned and recorded hours. Those uses may have supported client transparency and short-term planning, but the account is vendor-published and reports no independently measured productivity or revenue gains.
Why time tracking mattered to Flobotics
Flobotics automates repetitive office work through robotic process automation (RPA). In Clockify’s customer story, Krzysztof Szwed, identified as Flobotics’ Head of Delivery, describes a delivery model in which clients were billed according to development time. That made reliable records relevant not only to internal project management but also to explaining charges, particularly when projects had tight schedules.

The account says different clients needed different levels of detail: some wanted project-progress reporting, while others needed only straightforward time tracking. Szwed described Clockify as flexible for those differing requirements.
How Clockify’s reports supported client transparency
Szwed says Clockify’s built-in reporting was an unexpected benefit because Flobotics could show clients the system’s recorded development time when charging for that work. In practical terms, the reported use was to make the time behind a bill visible, rather than relying only on a summary of hours.
#1 Best Overall
“An unexpected benefit that we got with the tool is the built-in reporting module, which allowed us to gain a competitive edge with clients. We can simply show them the system’s outcome to charge for development time.”
This is Szwed’s description of how the reporting helped in client relationships; the story does not quantify whether it changed client satisfaction, billing disputes, or revenue.

How integrations connected estimates to actual time
Szwed says integration with Flobotics’ other systems was important because the company relied on data and tools in its operations. The concrete use he describes was comparing planned time with tracked time. Flobotics then used that comparison to forecast future demand and inform short-term strategies.

The account does not name the connected systems or explain the technical setup, so it does not establish which integrations or workflow another RPA team would need to reproduce this use.
What the case can—and cannot—show
The story presents a useful example of where time tracking can fit in an RPA services workflow: recording billable development work, producing client-facing reports, and comparing estimates with actual time for planning. Its evidence, however, is a vendor-published customer account and attributed comments, not an independent evaluation.

- Clockify’s page gives a figure of 30 Flobotics employees, but it has no publication date; treat it as a dated-unknown snapshot, not current headcount.
- The same page mentions more than 80 time-tracking integrations, also without a publication date. That is a vendor-reported figure, not a verified current count.
- The story provides no dated, quantified before-and-after result for productivity, revenue, forecasting accuracy, or client outcomes.
Accordingly, “competitive edge” is Szwed’s qualitative characterization of the client-reporting benefit, not a measured comparison against other RPA providers or time-tracking products.

For an agency considering a similar workflow, the Flobotics account suggests questions to ask of any time-tracking setup—not proof that a particular tool will deliver the same results:
Best Value
- Client reporting: Can reports show the recorded work behind billed development time in a form clients can understand?
- Different reporting needs: Can the workflow accommodate detailed project-progress reports as well as basic time records?
- Existing tools: Does the time tracker connect with the project and operational systems the team already uses?
- Estimate-to-actual review: Can managers compare planned and tracked time in a way that helps them forecast capacity or demand?
These are evaluation criteria derived from the use case. Clockify’s customer story does not compare it with alternatives or establish that every integration, report, or planning workflow will suit another company.
Source and company context
Clockify’s Flobotics customer story is the source for Szwed’s attributed comments and the described Clockify use. Flobotics describes its business process automation services and publishes case studies on its own site; those pages provide company context, not independent verification of Clockify’s effects.
