Bitmoji can appear directly in Samsung Keyboard on select Samsung devices running Android 10 or later. In a chat, open Samsung Keyboard, tap its sticker icon, and choose a Bitmoji to insert it. The feature is not promised on every Samsung phone that meets the Android version requirement, and Bitmoji does not publish a model-by-model compatibility list in its Samsung Keyboard instructions.
Send a Bitmoji from Samsung Keyboard
- Install the Bitmoji app, then create an account or sign in.
- Open a conversation in a messaging app and bring up Samsung Keyboard.
- Tap Samsung Keyboard’s sticker icon.
- Choose a Bitmoji sticker to insert it into the conversation.
For optional smart sticker suggestions while typing, tap the blue bubble that appears and choose Bitmoji. These steps apply to Bitmoji’s direct Samsung Keyboard integration, not the separate Android Bitmoji Keyboard or Gboard setup.

Which Samsung devices and messaging apps work?
Bitmoji describes the direct integration as available on select Samsung devices running Android 10 or later. Android 10 is a minimum stated version, not a guarantee that every eligible Samsung model, carrier variant, region, or One UI release has the feature. The official guidance does not identify supported models; it advises users to contact their carrier about upcoming Android updates.

Some apps may require you to select a conversation or recipient, and keyboard-based insertion depends on app support.

Set up the separate Android Bitmoji Keyboard
This is a distinct keyboard and its activation settings and privacy disclosures should not be confused with Samsung Keyboard’s built-in Bitmoji integration.
- In the Bitmoji app, open the Keyboard tab and follow its setup instructions if available.
- If the setup option is missing, open your device’s Settings → Languages and input → Virtual or On-screen keyboard → Manage keyboards, then enable Bitmoji Keyboard. Menu wording can vary by device.
Bitmoji notes that the Keyboard Setup option may not appear in its app when Gboard is installed; manual setup may be needed. For Gboard-specific instructions, use Bitmoji’s Gboard guide.

Fix missing stickers or insertion problems
- No sticker option in Samsung Keyboard: Check whether your device is one of the select Samsung models covered by Bitmoji’s Android 10-or-later guidance. That guidance does not provide a model list, so the Android version alone cannot confirm eligibility.
- The separate Bitmoji Keyboard is unavailable in an app: The app may not support the relevant Android feature. Try selecting the conversation or recipient first, or use the Bitmoji app’s sharing workflow.
- Stickers fail in a particular app: Bitmoji recommends updating the app. If the issue continues, contact that app’s developer; keyboard sticker insertion or image pasting may not be supported there. See Bitmoji’s Android keyboard troubleshooting guide.
Turn off Bitmoji keyboard access
Disconnect Samsung Keyboard integration
In the Bitmoji app, go to Settings → Connected Apps and switch off Samsung Keyboard. If Keyboard Content Centre appears in the list, switch that off as well. Bitmoji gives these steps in its Samsung Keyboard guide.

Disable the separate Android Bitmoji Keyboard
On the device, open Settings → General Management → Language & Input → On-Screen or Virtual Keyboard → Manage Keyboards, then switch off Bitmoji Keyboard. Labels may differ slightly across Android devices. Bitmoji also describes this route in its troubleshooting instructions.

- Samsung Keyboard integration: Bitmoji says it shares with Samsung which Bitmoji stickers are sent through the keyboard and does not share information identifying users with Samsung. This statement appears in its Samsung Keyboard support article.
- Separate Android Bitmoji Keyboard: Bitmoji says smart sticker suggestions are powered on the device and it does not track text typed with that keyboard. It also says it collects some keyboard activity, including stickers shared and sticker categories browsed. Its setup guidance describes that activity collection.
- Keystrokes and search text: Bitmoji’s Android Bitmoji Keyboard permissions page says the keyboard does not collect keystrokes or text entered into apps when using its iPhone or Android keyboard or another third-party keyboard. It says text entered in the Bitmoji app’s search function is the exception within the described scope and is kept for 30 days.
