HostMonster customers now manage their accounts through Bluehost, but Bluehost’s advertised plan prices are not a reliable guide to what a legacy HostMonster account costs. To find your actual renewal price, sign in to the Bluehost Portal with your existing HostMonster credentials and check the Renewal Center and account plan details. Bluehost says the account transition itself does not change renewal dates or billing cycles or move hosting servers and website content.
Is HostMonster now Bluehost?
HostMonster account servicing is handled through Bluehost’s portal. Bluehost’s transition FAQ, updated June 25, 2026, says existing customers can log in with their current credentials. It also says the transition does not change renewal dates or billing cycles, and that hosting servers and website content will not move as part of the transition.

That describes the account transition—not a change to a different hosting plan or a voluntary move to another provider. If you choose to change plans or hosts, that is a separate decision with its own billing and technical implications.

There is no universal current HostMonster legacy price established by the public information here. Bluehost’s published prices apply to the Bluehost offers displayed on its pricing page; they do not prove the price, features, or add-ons attached to an individual HostMonster account.

For context, Bluehost’s US shared-hosting page lists these examples for a 36-month term. Prices exclude taxes, and the page may change, so check it again before purchasing:
| Bluehost plan | Introductory price | Renewal price | Scope |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $3.99 per month | $9.99 per month | 36-month term; Bluehost’s current US offer |
| Business | $6.99 per month | $13.99 per month | 36-month term; Bluehost’s current US offer |
These are not HostMonster legacy rates. Bluehost lists other tiers as well, and its web-hosting pricing page provides the current offer details. Introductory and renewal prices must be considered together: an attractive initial monthly rate may be followed by a different renewal charge.
How do I find my HostMonster renewal price?
- Sign in to the Bluehost Portal using your existing HostMonster login credentials, as described in the account-transition FAQ.
- Open the Renewal Center and review the renewal amount, billing interval, and next renewal date for your account.
- Open your plan and account details. Check the included resources and any paid add-ons rather than assuming your account matches a current Bluehost tier.
- Before changing settings or choosing a new offer, compare the amount due for the complete billing term, applicable taxes, and optional services. Bluehost’s renewal price list gives rates for current Bluehost plans and monthly, 12-month, and 36-month terms; it directs customers to the portal for the most up-to-date account renewal amount.
The exact price and inclusions for a particular legacy HostMonster account must be verified in that account. A public Bluehost price list cannot settle what your existing account will be charged.
What should you compare before keeping or switching?
Compare your actual account with the complete offer you are considering, not just the advertised monthly starting price.

- Total cost: the upfront charge, introductory period, renewal rate, billing interval, taxes, and optional services.
- Account-specific inclusions: storage, number of sites, email, SSL, backups, privacy, security, and paid add-ons. Verify these in your account and in the offer terms.
- Operational impact: whether you are continuing to manage the existing account or initiating a voluntary migration. A move can involve website files, databases, DNS records, email, and possible disruption.
- Current plan terms: confirm resource limits and support channels with the provider before deciding. A comprehensive current HostMonster-specific support comparison is not established by the cited public information.
Bluehost’s pricing page cautions that descriptions such as “unmetered” do not mean unlimited use; usage remains subject to provider terms and its acceptable use policy.
Will my HostMonster website move to Bluehost?
No move of hosting servers or website content is part of the account transition described by Bluehost. The transition FAQ says both remain where they are. That is distinct from choosing to migrate your website to a different plan or provider.
Rank #4
If you choose a voluntary migration
Bluehost’s migration guide, updated June 17, 2026, recommends creating the new hosting account before cancelling the old one, backing up website files and databases, and accounting for email and DNS changes. Keeping both accounts active while DNS changes propagate can reduce disruption. Follow the guide and your providers’ instructions for the specific site and services involved.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteWhy older HostMonster plan information may mislead
TechRadar’s review published January 20, 2021, described HostMonster as part of Bluehost and said it was no longer taking new customers. Its historical shared, VPS, and dedicated plan details are not a current 2026 rate card. Do not combine those older prices or plan names with current Bluehost offers as though they describe the same product or account.

Is HostMonster worth keeping?
There is not enough public account-specific pricing information to give every HostMonster customer the same keep-or-switch verdict. The useful comparison is your Renewal Center amount and account inclusions against the full cost and terms of the alternative. If you are only accessing the existing account, the transition itself is not a required migration; if you elect to move, plan for backups, DNS, and email separately.
