Hostinger Reach is cheaper at some audience sizes, while MailerLite is cheaper at others in Hostinger’s US price comparison dated October 1, 2026. The better fit depends on more than the monthly price: compare your contact count, monthly send volume, AI needs and existing website or ecommerce tools. This is a vendor-published comparison, not an independent test, and the listed prices are not normalized for billing terms, taxes, add-ons or exact plan mapping.
Hostinger Reach vs MailerLite: what the published prices show
Hostinger’s comparison page lists these monthly prices for the US market by subscriber tier. The figures below are the prices shown by Hostinger, not a verified like-for-like checkout quote.

Reach has the lower listed price in the 500-, 2,500- and 10,000-subscriber rows; MailerLite has the lower listed price at 5,000 and 50,000. Those rows do not establish the cheapest option for every list size, and the comparison page does not reconcile billing commitments, introductory discounts, add-ons, tax treatment or each service’s exact plan mapping. Check the live checkout for your region, audience count and billing term before choosing. Hostinger’s Reach-versus-MailerLite comparison is dated October 1, 2026.

Free plans: compare the send cap, not just the price
Hostinger Reach
Hostinger says Reach’s free plan lasts one year and is available to non-Hostinger customers as well as Hostinger customers. It allows 100 unique subscribers and 200 emails per month. That is a small testing allowance: a list near the cap can use up the monthly sends quickly if you email frequently. Hostinger’s Reach plan limits also say new users receive a one-time gift of 20 AI credits.
#1 Best Overall
MailerLite
MailerLite lists its Free plan at $0 with 2,500 monthly emails. Its published feature list includes two user seats, three visual automations, one website and landing page, one digital product or booking, three signup forms or pop-ups, A/B testing and an MCP server. Taxes may apply. MailerLite’s features and plans describe its free and paid plans, which package sending and features differently from Reach.
Neither contact allowance nor headline monthly price alone tells you whether a plan covers your campaign calendar. Estimate how often you send to the same people, and include busy periods such as launches or seasonal promotions.
Rank #2
Paid allowances and monthly sending volume
Hostinger’s support article documents both a subscriber cap and a monthly email allowance for Reach’s paid tiers. It says these limits reset on the first day of each month.

MailerLite’s current feature page describes Comfort as starting at $12/month, with 10 emails per subscriber monthly, and Power as starting at $25/month, with unlimited monthly emails. Comfort lists an AI writing assistant and subject line generator. These are MailerLite’s published plan descriptions, not prices normalized against Hostinger’s tier table; the page does not provide a comparable list of each audience tier’s checkout price here.
Rank #3
To compare accurately, calculate your likely monthly volume as the number of recipients per campaign multiplied by campaigns sent, then add automated emails and peak-month campaigns. A list of 2,000 that gets one newsletter a month has a different requirement from the same list receiving weekly campaigns and a multi-message welcome sequence.
AI features: identify the tool and the quota you need
Reach’s AI features and credits
Hostinger markets AI-generated email templates, AI-powered segmentation, weekly campaign ideas, smart sending, AI subject lines and a spam checker. The documented monthly AI-credit allotment varies by Reach tier: 10 credits on Reach 500, 20 on Reach 1,000, and 30 on each listed tier from Reach 2,500 through Reach 50,000. Hostinger also documents a one-time 20-credit gift for new users. Confirm which actions consume credits and whether your intended campaign workflow fits the available monthly allotment.
MailerLite’s AI tools and MCP server
MailerLite lists an AI writing assistant and subject line generator on Comfort. It also promotes Smart Sending and an MCP server; its product page describes using tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to draft campaigns, analyze campaign performance and create automations. The MCP server appears in the Free plan’s feature list, while the AI writing assistant is listed under Comfort.
These published feature descriptions do not establish which service produces better copy, improves deliverability more or saves a particular amount of time. Choose based on the specific tasks you plan to use and the plan or credit requirements attached to them.

Where Reach may fit
Reach can connect to Hostinger domains or external domains. For a Hostinger domain, it can automatically configure SPF, DKIM and DMARC; an external domain must be verified. Hostinger’s setup guide recommends using a separate subdomain for marketing mail so that marketing traffic is separated from root-domain DNS records and reputation. Allow time for DNS changes to propagate before sending. Reach can sync contacts from WordPress or Hostinger AI Builder, and it accepts CSV uploads and API connections. See Hostinger’s Reach setup guidance for domain and contact setup details.
Where MailerLite may fit
MailerLite lists ecommerce campaigns, digital products, bookings, paid newsletters, landing pages, forms, automations and transactional email among its wider product features. Reach’s comparison page advertises ecommerce campaigns, automations, reporting, scheduling, personalization and deliverability or bounce reporting. Similar category labels do not demonstrate equivalent workflow depth, so verify that the exact integration, trigger or commerce action you need is available on the plan you would buy.
Quick Recap
How to choose between Reach and MailerLite
- Estimate both list size and sends. Include recurring newsletters, onboarding or lifecycle automations, transactional messages and peak campaigns. Then check whether the relevant plan’s subscriber and monthly-send limits cover that pattern.
- Recheck the actual price for your situation. The Hostinger comparison is a dated US-market snapshot. Confirm regional pricing, billing term, taxes, add-ons and the plan that matches your audience size at checkout.
- Match AI features to a real task. Decide whether you need writing assistance, segmentation, send timing, campaign ideas, spam checks or MCP-connected actions. Check plan access and Reach’s credit allotment rather than treating “AI features” as a single capability.
- Check your existing stack. Reach’s documented WordPress and Hostinger AI Builder contact syncing may suit an existing Hostinger or WordPress workflow. MailerLite’s listed creator and ecommerce features may matter if you sell digital products, take bookings or run paid newsletters. Confirm required integrations and actions directly in current product documentation.
- Set up and verify the sender domain. Authenticate the domain you will send from, verify external domains where required, and allow DNS changes to propagate. Also check the rules that apply to your audience and location before sending marketing email.
