To use a Hostinger AI Builder store as a catalog, keep your products visible on your pages but remove the direct purchase path for each item. On every product, enable Hide ‘Add to bag’ button, then optionally remove the price and turn off the quantity picker. These steps apply to stores in manual mode, and Hostinger’s access guide says manual-mode store management requires an active Hostinger Ecommerce subscription.
Before you start
- A store in manual mode. Hostinger’s catalog procedure is written for manual mode. Its store access guide also documents separate navigation in agentic mode, so confirm which mode your store uses before following the steps below. - An active Hostinger Ecommerce subscription. The same access guide states that one is required for manual-mode store management. Check your account’s subscription status and current terms, since these can change.
- Products already added to the store. Adding a product to the store does not make it appear on your site; that step is covered below.
Turn products into browse-only listings
The purchase button and the price are controlled per product. Repeat these steps for each item you want to display without selling directly.

- Open the store management area and go to Products.
- Select the product you want to change.
- Under Pricing, enable Hide ‘Add to bag’ button.
- Save the change.
With the button hidden, the item is no longer available for direct purchase. Hostinger states that displaying the price is then no longer required, so you can remove the price from the listing if you want a pure browsing display. Remove the quantity picker
A quantity picker is a separate control from the purchase button, so it needs its own setting. Hostinger’s steps are:

- Open the product page that contains the product section you are working on.
- Select the product section.
- Find Pricing and uncheck Track quantity.
- Save.
Once saved, visitors no longer see a quantity selector for that section’s products.
Update the website so the changes go live
Saving a product does not update the public site. Publish or update the website after your edits so the new settings appear online. Hostinger’s manual-mode guide also makes a point that matters for catalogs: “Products are not automatically displayed on your website.” You must add product sections to the pages where the catalog should appear (Hostinger’s manual-mode store guide).

Show the catalog on pages and organize it by category
For a catalog with more than a handful of items, categories make browsing easier. Create the product categories first, then add product sections to your pages and filter each section to one category. Hostinger’s category guide describes two layouts, and the choice between them depends on how much browsing you want to keep on one page (Hostinger’s category guide).

Hostinger also documents an optional contact form on product pages for customer inquiries. That gives browsing visitors a way to ask about an item without a checkout.

Choose the right outcome for each product
Hiding the purchase button and removing a product from the public site are two different actions. Pick the one that matches what you want the visitor to experience.

Use the inactive setting when an item should disappear from the site but remain in your management list. Use the browse-only setting when the item should stay on display. Product visibility behavior is described in Hostinger’s visibility guide.

Limits and points to verify
- Product capacity. Hostinger’s current AI Builder product guide states a limit of up to 1,000 products (Hostinger Help Center, current support article, accessed 2026). Product limits can change, so check the current product guide before relying on this number. Older Hostinger help material cites a different figure, so do not use that older number.
- Interface labels. The menu names and setting labels above (Products, Pricing, Hide ‘Add to bag’ button, Track quantity) are the labels in Hostinger’s current guides. Hostinger may rename them, so if a label differs, look for the same setting within the product’s Pricing section.
- Subscription and mode. The procedure assumes an active Ecommerce subscription and a manual-mode store. If your store uses agentic mode, the navigation may differ.
If a browse-only product still shows a purchase option after you save, check that the change was saved on that product and that the website was updated afterward.
