Hostinger AI Builder: How to Stop Content Generation in Agentic Mode

Click Stop while the agentic response is generating, and Hostinger says the changes won't be applied and your site stays unchanged.

While Hostinger AI Builder is generating a response in agentic mode, click the Stop button in the editor. Hostinger says this halts generation immediately. The builder will not apply or complete the changes, and your website stays as it was before the request.

Steps to stop a response

  1. Send your request in the AI Builder editor’s agentic chat as usual.
  2. While the response is still being generated, find the Stop button.
  3. Click Stop.
  4. Check the site. Hostinger’s wording is: “Once you stop it, Hostinger AI Builder will not apply or complete the changes, and your website will stay unchanged.”

Stop only works while a response is in progress. Once generation has finished, there is nothing left to halt.

What Stop does and doesn’t promise

  • Site state: the pending changes are not applied, so the site remains unchanged.
  • Shortcuts and fallbacks: Hostinger’s stop article describes no keyboard shortcut. It also gives no alternative if the button is missing.
  • Undoing earlier work: Stop applies to the response currently generating. It is not described as reversing changes from earlier requests.
  • Credits: Hostinger says agentic mode uses AI credits and that consumption varies by request. Its documentation does not say whether stopping a response refunds credits, so treat that as unknown. Check your credit balance in the builder if it matters to you.

Agentic mode versus manual mode

Hostinger describes agentic mode as a chat-based way to change your site: you describe the change to the AI and it makes it. Manual mode is for direct editing of text, images and sections, and it is the option to use for small tweaks you would rather do yourself. Hostinger also notes that an active hosting plan is needed to create and publish agentic-mode projects.

If the Stop button isn’t where you expect

Hostinger updates its editor and support pages periodically. If the control looks different or sits elsewhere, look for a button labelled Stop near the chat input while a response is running. If you still can’t find it, contact Hostinger support, since the official article offers no other procedure.
