Saving there does not make them public: use Publish to put a first site online or apply later edits to a live site.
How to save and publish changes
- Edit your site: Open it in Hostinger AI Builder manual mode and make your changes.
- Check the save status: Look at the top menu bar. Most edits autosave; if a Save button appears for an edit that has not saved, click it. Hostinger support explains that changes save automatically within the editor, but you must update the website for them to appear online (Hostinger’s manual-mode publishing guide).
- Preview the draft: Select Preview to check the changes before making them public. Preview is not publication.
- Publish when ready: Click Publish in the upper-right corner and wait for the success confirmation. A first-time project remains a private draft until published; for a site that is already live, publishing applies the latest changes to its public version (Hostinger’s manual-mode publishing guide).
Why aren’t my changes showing on the live website?
Work through these checks in order if the editor looks right but the public page does not.

Confirm that the latest version was published
Saving an edit in the editor and publishing it are separate steps. Return to the editor, publish again, and wait for the success message before checking the public page.
Check Coming Soon mode and product status
If Coming Soon mode is enabled, visitors may see a placeholder instead of the site. For a store product, confirm its status is Active, save the product-level changes, and then publish the website (Hostinger’s guide to changes missing from a manual-mode site).

Rule out a stale browser or network view
Browser, ISP, or DNS caching can make a page appear unchanged after publication. Check it in a private or incognito window, clear the browser cache, or try another network. These checks help distinguish a published-site issue from a stale view; they do not change the site itself (Hostinger’s troubleshooting guide).
Reduce autosave and synchronization problems
A poor connection or unexpected power outage can create a small risk that autosave fails. Avoid editing the same site in multiple browser tabs or devices at once, since simultaneous sessions may prevent changes from saving or synchronizing properly. Hostinger recommends Chrome for compatibility (Hostinger’s manual-mode publishing guide).

Can you restore an earlier version?
Hostinger says the first backup is created when the site is published, and later backups are created with each website update. Backups are retained for 30 days, according to Hostinger’s backup guidance retrieved October 4, 2026 (Hostinger’s website backup and restore guide).
