Hostinger AI Builder: How to Import Products to Your Online Store

Use Hostinger AI Builder’s product importer to upload a CSV or XLSX catalog, then review product details, variations, and storefront display.

To import products into a Hostinger AI Builder store, open Store Management, select Import products, upload a CSV or XLSX file, and click Continue. Then follow the on-screen prompts to review and complete the import. Hostinger describes this importer as a beta feature, so check the current interface and limits before moving a large catalog.

Before you start

You need an active Hostinger Ecommerce subscription to access Store Management. Hostinger accepts CSV and XLSX files and offers an optional downloadable CSV template. Use the current template as a guide: Hostinger’s public import instructions do not list required column names or confirm compatibility with exports from other platforms.

The documented limits are up to 50 physical products per import and up to 1,000 products in a store. The first figure is a per-batch limit; the second is the store’s overall catalog limit. Because the importer is in beta, confirm the current limits in the interface if your migration depends on them.

How to import products

  1. Prepare your spreadsheet. Save your product data as a CSV or XLSX file. If you need a starting point, download Hostinger’s CSV template from the import flow and use its current structure.
  2. Open Store Management. In manual mode, open the website editor, select Online store in the left panel, then click Manage store. In agentic mode, open the editor and select Ecommerce in the top navigation.
  3. Start the import. In Store Management, open product management and click Import products.
  4. Upload and continue. Choose your CSV or XLSX file, then click Continue.
  5. Review and finish. Follow the remaining on-screen prompts to review the import and complete it. Hostinger says imported products can then be managed like products created manually.

What to check after importing

Product details and variations

Review each imported product’s details, particularly SKUs, inventory, prices, weights, and variant-specific images if your catalog uses them. Hostinger says size or color variations can be added after import. Its product-management guidance allows up to 50 options or variations per product.

Whether products appear on your site

Importing products does not automatically add them to a visible section on a page. In manual mode, open the desired page in the editor and add an Online store section. Choose a product-list section to show all products or a selected category, or use a single-product section to feature one item.

Limits and details Hostinger does not specify

Hostinger’s public import guide does not list required spreadsheet headers, detailed field mapping, file-size or row limits, duplicate handling, failed-row behavior, or how to recover from a partial import. Do not assume another platform’s export will import unchanged. If you need those specifics, check the current template and import interface or ask Hostinger support before uploading a large catalog.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
