To edit a header in Hostinger AI Builder’s manual mode, select the header on the page and choose Edit header. Use its layout and style controls for the header’s appearance, and the separate navigation control to change which pages appear in the menu.
Open the header editing controls

Open your site in Hostinger AI Builder manual mode. The header is the uppermost section of the site, also called the menu bar or navigation menu.

Select the header section. Its toolbar appears; choose Edit header to access layout, logo, and header settings. Hostinger’s header editing guide describes these controls.

Change the header layout, logo, or appearance
In Edit header, use the available layout controls to adjust sticky behavior, menu layout, element and link spacing, and the padding above and below the header. The logo controls let you show or hide the logo, replace it, and change its size.
For colors and typography, use the header style controls. They include background color and transparency, text font and color, hover color, button styling, and social-icon styling. Header text size is set through the global text-style settings rather than the header controls. See Hostinger’s header styling guide for those options.

Replace the logo artwork
AI Builder currently does not provide controls to edit or style the logo image itself. Prepare the artwork separately and upload it; Hostinger’s logo guide recommends PNG or SVG files.
Add or customize a header button

Select the header and choose Edit header.

Enable the button under Elements.

Select Edit button to customize it. Hostinger explains the button workflow in its manual-mode button guide.

Manage the menu pages and links
To change which pages and links are listed, select the header and open its navigation control. This opens the Pages and navigation panel, where you can add, rename, sort, hide, or remove menu items and links. Pages under Main navigation appear in the menu; pages under Hidden from navigation do not. Follow Hostinger’s navigation guide for the panel controls.
To reorder items, drag the six-dot handle beside an item in the panel, as described in Hostinger’s menu-sorting guide.

Adjust the mobile header separately
Switch to mobile view, select the header, and choose Edit header. In Layout, change the mobile menu position. Mobile element ordering can be adjusted separately; however, deleting an element or section on desktop also removes it on mobile. Hostinger outlines the distinction in its mobile editing guide.

No header is visible: Check the Pages and navigation panel. If every page is under Hidden from navigation, move an intended menu page to Main navigation; Hostinger notes that hiding all pages can make the header disappear.

The mobile menu does not match desktop: Review the mobile editor view and its Layout settings; do not assume the desktop arrangement is mirrored automatically.

Hostinger’s help pages described these controls as updated shortly before the October 4, 2026 search date, but those relative update labels are not independently verified publication dates. If a label or control differs in your editor, check the live interface.
