For the floating bubble, enter your WhatsApp number with country code as digits only, add a default message, save, and publish the site to make the change live.
Choose how WhatsApp should appear on your site

Hostinger documents all three built-in routes in its manual-mode WhatsApp guide. The floating bubble is the most direct choice for a general site; the store button is configured separately from the regular site integration.

Add the floating WhatsApp bubble
- Open your website in Hostinger AI Builder manual mode and go to the integrations settings.
- Find the WhatsApp field and enter the phone number connected to your WhatsApp account. Include the country code and use digits only—no plus sign, spaces, parentheses, or hyphens. Hostinger’s example is
37061234567. - Enter the default message visitors should see when they start a chat.
- Save the setting, then update or publish the site so the change reaches the live website.
Hostinger says the default bubble icon cannot be replaced with a personalized image. If you need a different placement rather than a customized bubble, use a social icon link instead. See Hostinger’s instructions for the WhatsApp number format and save/update step.

Link a social icon to WhatsApp
- Add a social icons element to the page where you want the link.
- Select Edit social icons, then choose Add new link.
- Choose WhatsApp as the destination and enter the WhatsApp link with the phone number connected to your account.
- Update or publish the site when finished.

Enable the product-page chat button for a store
- Open Store Manager → Integrations.
- Configure the WhatsApp number for the store.
- Save the change and publish or update the website.
The button appears as Chat on WhatsApp beside Add to Bag on product pages. Hostinger says a click opens WhatsApp with a prefilled message containing the product title, selected variant, and product-page link; the feature is available globally. These details come from Hostinger’s manual-mode WhatsApp guide.
Publish the change and check the live site
Saving an integration setting is not the same as publishing the site. Hostinger says a manual-mode website remains a private draft until its first publication, and later edits also need to be published to appear on the live site. After configuring WhatsApp, use the editor’s publish or update action, then check the live site for the placement you chose. See Hostinger’s manual-mode publishing instructions.

When to use custom code instead
Hostinger also documents custom code as an option for adding third-party widgets, including code in the site head or an embed-code element in the body. Its WhatsApp guide names Tidio, tawk.to, GetButton, and Atlasmic as examples of widget services. These are alternatives for cases where you need widget behavior beyond the built-in bubble, link, or store button; custom code is not required for those built-in methods.
