To add a product in Hostinger AI Builder, open Store Management → Products → Add product, choose a product type, fill in its details, and save. Saving creates a product page, but in manual mode you must also add a product section to a website page for shoppers to see it. Set up at least one payment method before customers can pay.
Before you add a product
In manual mode, Hostinger says an active Ecommerce subscription is required to access store management and accept payments. During store setup, you select a business title, country, and currency. Confirm your current plan and the options shown in your account, since available features can vary by mode and may change.

Decide what you are selling and how customers will receive it. Hostinger’s AI Builder guide lists physical, digital, service, appointment, donation, gift card (beta), and print-on-demand products. Its broader Ecommerce documentation also lists subscriptions, but says these are created through AI Builder agentic mode rather than the standalone Ecommerce Add product form. The type choices are therefore interface- and mode-dependent.

Add a product in Store Management
- Open Store Management → Products and select Add product.
- Choose the product type before entering details. Hostinger says the type cannot be changed after selection.
- Enter a title, then add any useful subtitle, ribbon, description, and images. Hostinger uses the title as the product-page title and meta title.
- Complete the fields relevant to the type. For a physical product, this can include price, sale price, SKU, optional weight, stock quantity, and product options. For a digital product, provide the downloadable file or a supported external link.
- Assign a category if it helps organize your store, then save. Hostinger creates the product page automatically.
Product details and limits
- Hostinger’s AI Builder guide says a store can contain up to 1,000 products.
- The guide sets a minimum price of USD 1 or the equivalent in the store currency. Zero-price and discretionary-price products are unsupported, except for appointment products.
- A digital product can include up to 10 files, with a maximum of 100 MB per file.
- Weight is optional and applies to physical products; quantity tracking is also optional.
These are limits and settings published by Hostinger, not independent performance measures. See its AI Builder product guide for the current details.

Add sizes, colors, or other variations
Use product options when customers need to choose between versions such as sizes or colors. Add an option type, such as “Size,” then enter the available selections. Hostinger creates a variant for every combination of options, so keep combinations manageable and check the resulting list before saving.
Hostinger’s product-options guide allows up to 50 variations per product. The variant editor supports individual settings for image, price, sale price, SKU, weight, and stock quantity. See Hostinger’s product-options guide for the current editor instructions.
Create products in batches
Generate listings from images
The AI Builder guide describes generating up to 10 physical product listings from up to 10 uploaded images. Review and customize the generated details before using them; this option may not appear in every account.

Hostinger documents importing product data from CSV or XLSX files, with up to 50 products per batch. It identifies this import workflow as beta, so availability and behavior may vary. Check the current AI Builder product import guide before preparing a file.
Make the product visible on your website
Creating a product and placing it on a page are separate steps. Hostinger’s Help Center explains that a product page is created automatically when you create a product. In manual mode, that does not necessarily place the item in a page section shoppers can browse.
To show products in manual mode, open the target page in the builder and add an Online store product list section or a single-product section. A product list can display all products or products from a selected category. Agentic mode may handle the site differently: AI-created products can be drafts that need activation, followed by a website update.

Set up payment before checkout
Add at least one payment method in your store settings before expecting customers to pay. Product creation alone does not enable checkout. Confirm that the configured payment option is available for your location and suits the way you intend to sell.

Hostinger’s current AI Builder product guide says stores support one language and do not natively provide multilingual product pages. If you need product information in multiple languages, do not assume that adding another language is a built-in store feature.
