Whether it is good value is the open question. The official material behind this review does not establish a complete current price, renewal or mailbox-count table for any single country, so a value verdict depends on checking your local checkout.
What the service includes
Hosting.com describes the following features for its email service. These are the provider’s own descriptions, and this review did not test them hands-on.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
- Email addresses on a domain you own
- A web inbox, plus iOS and Android apps
- Calendar and contacts
- Anti-spam and anti-virus filtering
- Access through IMAP, POP3 and SMTP, with Outlook and Apple Mail named as examples of compatible programs
The site says every plan shares a core productivity suite and that the tiers differ in storage and in additional tools. The UK product page does not list those additional tools. A regional Hosting.com page names Titan as the mail host and lists further plan capabilities, but these details are market-specific, so confirm what your country’s plan actually includes.

How much storage do I get?
The official UK product page gives these storage allowances per mailbox. The page does not show a publication year.
#1 Best Overall
| Plan | Storage per mailbox (UK product page) | Mailboxes included | Price and renewal |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pro | 10 GB | Not stated on the UK product page | Not stated in the official material reviewed |
| Premium | 50 GB | Not stated on the UK product page | Not stated in the official material reviewed |
| Ultra | 100 GB | Not stated on the UK product page | Not stated in the official material reviewed |
Storage is the clearest difference between the tiers on the published material. Choosing a tier should start from how much mail each person keeps, then move on to cost.
Billing terms to check before you buy
Hosting.com’s plan page sets out a few billing points. Treat them as the provider’s stated terms and confirm them in checkout.
- Additional mailboxes are charged at the same rate as the initial plan.
- The plan page advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee. Its conditions are not spelled out in the official material reviewed.
- The monthly or annual commitment and the renewal price are not established for any country in the material reviewed.
Before comparing Hosting.com with other providers, record the price of your first mailbox, the price of each extra mailbox, the renewal amount and date, and whether the guarantee applies to the plan you select.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The service is built around addresses on a domain you control. If that domain is hosted elsewhere, Hosting.com says it will provide DNS setup guidance, which means the instructions for the records you change at your current domain host so that mail is routed to Hosting.com. The guidance itself was not tested for this review.
Rank #3
Can I move my existing email over?
Hosting.com says it will migrate mail at no charge from Gmail, Microsoft 365 or another IMAP provider. The migration was not independently tested for this review, so treat it as a stated policy. Confirm the scope and timing with Hosting.com before you switch providers.
Will I keep my current address?
The provider’s answer is that you can keep your address if you control the domain. The official FAQ on its product page states:
Rank #4
“Yes, as long as it uses a domain you control.”

This is the provider’s answer about retaining an existing address, not an independent guarantee for every migration scenario.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Security, filtering and uptime claims
Hosting.com’s UK page advertises several protections and a service commitment. Each is a vendor claim.
- SPF, DKIM and DMARC email authentication, which are DNS-based records that help receiving servers check that mail genuinely comes from the sending domain
- Encryption in transit and at rest
- A 99.9% uptime SLA, which is a commitment rather than a measured uptime history
No independent uptime history, security audit or deliverability test is cited for this service. None of these claims should be read as independently verified performance.
The Bottom Line
Verdict: Hosting.com email is a reasonable candidate for a small business that wants branded mailboxes, standard mail-client access and a stated free migration. The unresolved point is price. Until you see the local checkout and renewal figures, you cannot judge value for money.
Quick Recap
- Good fit: you want email on your own domain, use Outlook, Apple Mail or a phone app, and are moving from Gmail, Microsoft 365 or another IMAP provider.
- Check first: the cost for your mailbox count, the renewal price, and whether your country’s plan includes the tools you need.
- Think twice: you need independently verified uptime or security history, or extra mailboxes at the plan rate would make up most of your cost.
