The provider advertises NVMe storage, LiteSpeed, backups, email, security features, migration help, and 24/7 support. What Hosting.com cPanel hosting includes
Hosting.com describes cPanel hosting as web hosting managed through the cPanel dashboard, where customers can manage files, domains, email, and databases. The company says the service can support any stack or CMS, while it offers a separate product tuned for WordPress. Hosting.com’s cPanel hosting page is the source for the advertised features and terms below.

Advertised tools and features
- NVMe SSD storage and LiteSpeed.
- Unlimited MariaDB databases and unlimited domain-based email.
- Daily backups, with one-click restores for any point in the previous 30 days.
- SSL, a web application firewall (WAF), brute-force protection, malware scanning, DDoS mitigation, and encrypted SFTP.
- Integrated analytics.
These are Hosting.com’s listed features, not independently verified performance or security outcomes. Confirm backup and restore conditions for the specific plan, and keep an independent backup of important data.

Hosting.com advertises free migration for websites, email, and domains. It says cPanel accounts can often be moved using backup and restore. The company also advertises in-house support 24/7/365 through chat, phone, or ticket. These offers do not establish how a particular migration or support request will turn out.
How much does it cost?
When accessed in 2026, Hosting.com’s product page displayed a starting price of US$3.99 per month, a crossed-out reference price of US$14.99, and a “save up to 73%” promotion. It also advertised a free domain for the first year on qualifying annual plans and a 30-day money-back guarantee. These are vendor-displayed terms, not a quote for every location or plan. Confirm the selected country, billing period, taxes, qualifying-plan conditions, and guarantee terms at checkout.
Hosting.com says promotional savings apply during a prepaid period and that plans renew at regular pricing afterward. Its renewal-pricing page does not provide a clear current cPanel renewal quote by plan in the available information. Check the renewal amount for the exact plan before paying; do not assume the promotional monthly equivalent will continue.

What to verify before checkout
- The full amount due for the initial term and the renewal amount afterward.
- How many websites and cPanel accounts the plan allows.
- Storage and other resource limits, which may vary by tier.
- Backup cadence, retention, and restore conditions on the selected plan.
- Server location relative to your visitors.
- What the migration offer covers for your current site, email, and domain setup.
Does Hosting.com still offer cPanel?
In a company update dated May 13, 2025, Hosting.com said it was not removing cPanel while developing a separate Hosting Panel. The statement supports the answer that the company then intended to continue offering cPanel; it is not a guarantee of future availability or terms. Read the dated Hosting.com update.
That same post said a price adjustment made in September 2024 affected existing customers at renewal and that invoices are issued 14 days before renewal. This is historical context, not a current renewal quote. Check your account and plan terms for applicable dates and charges.
Is it good value for your needs?
It may suit you if
- You want the familiar cPanel dashboard for managing a site, email, files, and databases.
- You want vendor-managed shared hosting and the specific listed features fit your requirements.
- You have confirmed the plan’s cPanel-account allowance, resource limits, and renewal cost.
Consider another type of hosting if
- You only need managed WordPress: compare Hosting.com’s WordPress-specific offer rather than assuming the general cPanel plan is optimized for that use.
- You need dedicated resources or root access: compare VPS hosting, since a shared cPanel plan should not be assumed to provide either.
- You need multiple client accounts: check the cPanel license type and account allowance before purchase.
Hosting.com’s terms say cPanel is provided by a third party. The license type and number of cPanel accounts depend on the hosting plan; extra accounts may require an upgrade or separate purchase. The terms also allow restrictions on control-panel use in some circumstances. Review the applicable plan and terms if you manage accounts for multiple clients.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What the available evidence can—and cannot—tell you
Hosting.com’s product page reports “Over 3 million websites hosted worldwide.” That is a company-reported figure, not an independently audited count. The available information does not establish independently measured speed or uptime, migration outcomes, or customer-support response times. Treat the listed features and service promises as the provider’s claims, not as a hands-on review or performance guarantee.
