There is no official confirmation that a Helldivers 2 Premium Warbond called “Scope of Authority” launches on October 20, 2026. The official PlayStation Helldivers 2 news pages checked on October 13 list the Ironclad Democracy Warbond, announced for September 22, but do not show an announcement for Scope of Authority or verify its date, items, price, platforms, regions or unlock requirements.
What is actually confirmed
PlayStation’s official Helldivers 2 news listing and its September 15 announcement identify Ironclad Democracy as the recent Warbond release. That announcement said it would deploy on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, and detailed its weapons, armor, throwables, capes, booster, emote, player cards, title and vehicle patterns.

Searches of the same official news material for “Scope of Authority” and “October 20” did not locate a matching announcement. That is a verification result as of October 13, not proof that Arrowhead will never use the name or date. A later post could still establish the Warbond.

How Premium Warbond access generally works
Other official Warbond announcements provide useful background, but their terms cannot be transferred automatically to an unconfirmed title. Ironclad Democracy says players need the base game, Super Credits and game progression to unlock its content. The March 10, 2026 Entrenched Division announcement likewise describes a Premium Warbond as requiring the base game, a paid purchase of Super Credits and progression.
Those examples explain the usual model: Warbonds are digital in-game content layered onto the base game, with progression involved in unlocking rewards. They do not establish what Scope of Authority would cost, whether it would use the same currency, or whether its progression rules would match.

What to check before spending Super Credits
- Open the in-game Warbonds screen and confirm that “Scope of Authority” appears as an official, purchasable listing rather than a rumor or placeholder.
- Check the displayed release status, Super Credit price, page count and item descriptions in your own platform and region.
- Read the unlock conditions for each page before buying; the requirements may differ from another Premium Warbond.
- Keep your purchase receipt and note the transaction date in case you need platform or in-game support.
Refund limits and where to request help
Arrowhead Player Support’s page, updated October 7, 2026, says in-game item refunds are limited to purchases made within the previous seven days. A Warbond refund is possible only when nothing has been purchased from that Warbond. The policy allows three separate refunds per year, with each refund covering up to three items.
Refunds for the full game or for Super Credit transactions are handled by the platform where the purchase was made, not through the in-game item process. Policies can change, so verify the current support wording before submitting a request.

When the October 20 claim becomes reliable
A reliable launch report needs a direct Arrowhead or PlayStation announcement that names the Warbond and date. It should also state the item roster, currency or price, progression requirements and platform or regional availability. Until that information appears, the accurate answer to “When does Scope of Authority come out?” is that October 20 remains unconfirmed.
