That is a protocol-level liquidity metric—not a promise that a USDS holder can withdraw dollars to a bank account immediately. Sky documents an on-chain USDS-to-USDC swap route; converting either token into bank dollars requires a separate fiat provider or exchange, whose availability and terms depend on the user and location.
What Sky’s $4.32 billion figure means
The Sky Ecosystem dashboard snapshot checked on October 13, 2026, labeled $4.32 billion “Liquidity Instant” and reported $9.4 billion “Within 1 Week.” These are system-level liquidity figures, not balances reserved for an individual holder or a measurement of cash ready to arrive in bank accounts. The key distinction is between on-chain liquidity—the ability to exchange tokens through a protocol mechanism—and fiat access—a provider’s ability to accept a token, convert it to dollars, and send those dollars through a bank rail. The dashboard figure addresses the former, not the latter.
How a USDS holder can reach USDC on Ethereum
Sky’s documented token route uses LitePSM on Ethereum to swap USDS and USDC. Sky describes public access through the LitePSM wrapper: users may call buyGem to buy USDC with USDS, or sellGem to sell USDC and receive USDS. - Check the route and network. Confirm that the transaction is on Ethereum and that the interface or contract route is the official LitePSM wrapper documented by Sky.
- Review current conditions. Check available liquidity, contract parameters, and any fees shown before confirming. The documentation surfaced for the USDS/USDC wrapper says swap fees have not been activated, but that status may change; do not assume a fee-free transaction indefinitely.
- Swap USDS for USDC. Use the documented route, considering the amount available at that moment. A stated ratio or low-slippage mechanism does not mean unlimited capacity.
- Arrange the fiat leg separately. If the goal is bank dollars, find a provider that accepts the resulting asset and can serve the account’s country and bank. Verify its requirements before transferring funds.
Sky’s token documentation also says USDS is an ERC-20 token and that the DAI-USDS converter supports conversion between those tokens at a 1:1 ratio with no liquidity restrictions. That is a token-to-token conversion, not a redemption into fiat or a bank transfer. Sky Protocol token routes
Why the bank transfer is a separate route
After a USDS-to-USDC swap, the user still needs a fiat provider or exchange that accepts USDC, converts it to dollars, and supports withdrawal to the relevant bank. Sky’s documentation of its on-chain route does not establish a universal cash-out provider, eligible countries, account requirements, limits, fees, or settlement times. Those details must be checked with the chosen provider for the user’s jurisdiction and account.

- Availability: Confirm the provider supports USDC deposits and withdrawals to banks in your country.
- Eligibility and verification: Check account, identity, and compliance requirements before sending tokens.
- Limits and fees: Review deposit, conversion, withdrawal, and network fees, as well as transaction limits.
- Timing and bank rails: Confirm expected settlement windows and whether the destination bank can receive the payment.
A protocol’s “instant” liquidity label therefore cannot establish that the entire path—from holding USDS to cleared bank dollars—will be instant. The bank leg is governed by a separate service and its policies, processing, and payment rails.

Other figures about Sky-related liquidity and token scale refer to different measures and dates; they should not be combined as if they described the same pool or guaranteed cash-outs.

The SEC filing is SDEV’s report of its business and protocol information, rather than a bank-liquidity measurement. Supply, pool liquidity, and dashboard liquidity are distinct figures: none alone establishes how much a specific holder can cash out through a particular provider.
