The Samsung Exynos 1330 is the stronger chip on paper. Its newer CPU cores, Mali-G68 graphics, 5 nm EUV process and integrated 5G modem give it an advantage over MediaTek’s entry-level, 4G Helio G37. Available benchmark figures do not establish a reliable universal score gap, however, and a phone’s cooling, memory and software affect real performance.
Helio G37 vs Exynos 1330 specifications
| Specification | MediaTek Helio G37 | Samsung Exynos 1330 |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | Eight Cortex-A53 cores: four up to 2.3 GHz and four up to 1.8 GHz, according to independent listings | Two Cortex-A78 performance cores and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores, according to Samsung |
| Manufacturing process | 12 nm, per MediaTek | 5 nm EUV, per Samsung |
| GPU | PowerVR GE8320 | Mali-G68; an independent comparison database identifies it as MP2 |
| Cellular connectivity | 4G | Integrated sub-6 GHz 5G |
| Manufacturer-stated peak modem speeds | Not stated in the cited MediaTek source | Up to 2.55 Gbps download and 1.28 Gbps upload; manufacturer-stated peaks, not guaranteed user speeds |
| Camera and video support | Comparable primary-source specifications are not established here | Up to 108 MP image-signal support and 4K recording up to 30 fps, per Samsung |
The CPU difference is the clearest reason to expect better responsiveness from the Exynos 1330. Its two Cortex-A78 cores are newer, higher-performance cores than the Cortex-A53 cores used across both Helio G37 clusters. That should help with demanding apps and workloads that benefit from fast CPU cores; it does not guarantee identical results across every phone using either chip.

The process figures also favor the Exynos on paper: Samsung specifies 5 nm EUV, while MediaTek reports 12 nm for the Helio G37. A smaller process figure alone does not determine battery life. The handset’s display, battery, software, thermal design and workload all matter.

Which chip is faster in benchmarks?
The Exynos 1330 is the likely performance winner based on its CPU architecture and platform specifications, but the available scores do not support a precise, universal multiplier between the two chips.

NanoReview’s Helio G37 page, accessed October 7, 2026, shows device-submitted results of 198 single-core and 868 multi-core in Geekbench 6, plus 215,798 in AnTuTu 11. These are aggregated submissions from different devices, not results from a controlled test against a specific Exynos 1330 phone. Differences in cooling, memory, software and benchmark version can change scores. CPU-Monkey lists comparison specifications and benchmark categories, but the available information does not provide a fair paired score set for both chips.
For that reason, treat the scores as examples of reported Helio G37 results, not as a direct head-to-head measurement. Comparing a score from another source or benchmark version would not establish a reliable percentage lead.

What the difference means for gaming and everyday use
Everyday responsiveness and multitasking
The Exynos 1330’s Cortex-A78 cores should make it better suited to demanding apps and heavier multitasking. The Helio G37’s Cortex-A53-based design is aimed at more modest workloads and appears in entry-level 4G phones, where basic everyday use is a more realistic expectation.
Graphics and gaming
The Exynos 1330 uses Mali-G68 graphics, while the Helio G37 uses PowerVR GE8320. Those GPU names do not by themselves reveal how a particular game will run. A meaningful real-game comparison would require equivalent phones, game versions, graphics settings and testing conditions. Expect modest headroom from an entry-level Helio G37 phone for demanding games, but do not infer a specific frame rate from this chip comparison.

5G and other platform differences
The Exynos 1330 has a clear connectivity-generation advantage: Samsung specifies an integrated sub-6 GHz 5G modem, while the Helio G37 is a 4G platform. Samsung advertises peak modem speeds of up to 2.55 Gbps down and 1.28 Gbps up; actual service depends on the handset’s supported bands, carrier, coverage and network conditions.
Samsung also specifies support for image sensors up to 108 MP and 4K video recording at up to 30 fps on the Exynos 1330. Comparable primary-source camera and video specifications for the Helio G37 are not established here, so these figures are not enough to declare a full camera-feature winner.

Which phone should you choose?
For performance, graphics capability and 5G support, the Exynos 1330 is the stronger platform on the specifications available. The Helio G37 may be adequate for basic tasks in an entry-level 4G phone, but the processor comparison alone cannot tell you which handset is the better purchase.
