Why a fixed puzzle sequence may not work
Haunted Laia is a point-and-click escape-room puzzle adventure from Dark Dome Studios and the fifth episode in its Hidden Town series. Laia explores memories while trying to escape and rescue her family. The adventure moves through places including her house, a cave and the room behind the red door; progress depends on examining objects, finding hidden items and using or combining what you collect. Some symbol arrangements can vary between playthroughs. Talk Android warns that the symbol order shown in a painting may be randomized, and a player discussion about the final puzzle likewise reports that token symbols change even though their board positions stay the same. Treat a video’s symbols as an example, not a universal answer: read the clues in your own game and map each symbol to its position. - Try the in-game hint first. Use it if you want a clue while preserving more of the puzzle-solving experience.
- Find the matching puzzle in a written guide. Read only the relevant passage, especially if you are looking for the painting symbols or the cave’s final token puzzle.
- Switch to the full video when you need a route. Follow the GameScan walkthrough for broader progress, but pause at decision points and check your own clues when a symbol arrangement differs.
- Decide whether you want the ending spoiled. The video title explicitly includes a secret-ending route; stop before the ending if you only need help reaching the next area.
Optional completion goal and series context
Finding all 10 hidden lizards is an optional achievement listed by Dark Dome Studios; it is not necessary to treat every lizard as a main-route puzzle. Official App Store listing
