Hare In The Hat has a built-in puzzle Skip option, but the available sources do not verify a general-purpose cheat-code list. More importantly, the Steam Community guide says a normal confirmed skip awards the “Cheater” achievement instead of the corresponding puzzle-completion achievement. How do you skip a puzzle in Hare In The Hat?
According to a Steam Community guide by Nomad1, a question-mark button appears in the top-left corner of the puzzle window once you have the pieces needed to complete that puzzle. Open it to see the Reset and Skip options. Choosing Skip brings up a confirmation screen.

Does skipping a puzzle affect achievements?
Yes, according to that guide: confirming Skip awards the “Cheater” achievement in place of the achievement for completing the corresponding puzzle. The guide also describes an Alt-key workaround: hold Alt while clicking Continue on the confirmation screen. It says Steam must be running and you must be connected to the internet.

Do not treat that workaround as guaranteed achievement protection. The guide’s opening warning says later achievements will be locked, while its detailed instructions describe the Alt-key route and say skipped puzzles can be attempted again after resetting the game. Those claims do not establish how the method behaves in the current game build or guarantee a particular achievement outcome. If achievements matter to you, the least ambiguous option is to solve the puzzle rather than confirm a skip.
Are there Hare In The Hat cheat codes?
The sources cited here document the built-in Skip feature, not a list of general cheat codes. Skip is a puzzle option with an achievement consequence; it should not be presented as a universal code or as a way to unlock everything.

How many achievements are in Hare In The Hat?
Steam lists 34 achievements for the base game. The Abyss is a separate DLC chapter: RunServer’s April 29, 2016 announcement says it adds 17 achievements, 10 puzzles, and more than 90 minutes of gameplay. Those are the developer’s launch figures for the expansion, not a current-build playtime measurement.

How do you get all achievements in The Abyss?
The available information establishes the expansion’s achievement count, but not a verified achievement-by-achievement walkthrough. It would be misleading to invent unlock steps or imply that the base-game skip advice covers the DLC’s full achievement set. For specific objectives, consult the game’s current Steam achievements and a walkthrough that documents the particular DLC achievement you are pursuing.

Hare In The Hat is a single-player RunServer adventure released on Steam on April 1, 2015. The store lists English and Russian interface and subtitle support, as well as Steam Cloud, trading cards, and Family Sharing.
On September 5, 2022, RunServer announced support for macOS—including Apple Silicon Macs—64-bit Linux, and Steam Deck, saying sound and achievements worked without additional dependencies. Those are dated developer compatibility claims; check the current Steam listing for up-to-date platform and device support. In the announcement, RunServer said: “We are proud to announce that Hare In The Hat is now fully supported on Mac OS (including Apple Silicon Macs), 64-bit Linux and on Steam Deck devices!” Read the September 5, 2022 announcement.
