Hadrian announced a $40 million funding round on October 6, 2026, co-led by Forgepoint Capital International and SmartFin. The round brings the company’s total funding to $65 million and will support engineering and research, alongside expansion in the United States and across EMEA.

What Hadrian’s offensive security platform does
Hadrian combines continuous exposure management with automated penetration testing. Its two components address related but distinct security tasks:
Atlas: mapping and validating exposure
Atlas maps an organization’s external attack surface and uses AI agents to investigate flagged weaknesses, helping determine which may be genuinely exploitable. That focus on exploitability is different from simply presenting a list of detected vulnerabilities: it aims to help security teams distinguish actionable exposure from findings that may not represent a practical attack path.
Nova: on-request penetration testing
Nova runs automated penetration tests when requested. Together, Atlas and Nova span ongoing visibility into external exposure and testing initiated for a particular need; they do not make human security judgment unnecessary.

How Hadrian describes its AI safety controls
Hadrian says humans set objectives and make key decisions, while agents carry out tasks in between. It also says a second agent checks each agent action and that the system operates under strict limits. These are the company’s descriptions of its safeguards; they do not amount to independent validation of the platform’s security or performance.
