Select the subscription, open its three-dot menu and choose Unsubscribe. To ask for a refund, contact Gyre within 14 days of payment and make sure your account has streamed for less than 10 hours in total when you submit the request. Eligible refunds may have transaction fees deducted.
How to cancel a Gyre subscription
- Sign in to your Gyre account.
- Click your avatar and open Settings > Subscriptions > Active.
- Select the subscription you want to cancel.
- Open its three-dot menu and choose Unsubscribe.
Gyre lists these steps in its pricing-page FAQ. If you cannot cancel through the account, you can email Gyre support at [email protected].

Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next period’s charge. Gyre’s Terms of Service state: “To avoid being charged the corresponding amount in the next period, cancel the Subscription before the renewal date.” Keep a record of your cancellation request and check the account for confirmation.
When Gyre may refund a payment
Gyre’s English Terms of Service, last updated January 14, 2026, set two conditions for a refund request:

- Timing: Gyre must receive the request within 14 days after payment.
- Usage: Total stream duration across the account must be less than 10 hours when the request is submitted. Exactly 10 hours does not meet the stated “less than 10 hours” condition.
The pricing FAQ describes a qualifying refund as “full,” but the detailed Terms of Service say transaction fees are deducted. For card payments processed through Stripe, Gyre states that its transaction fees do not exceed 7% of the subscription cost. The amount actually deducted depends on the payment and fees involved, so the policy does not establish a guaranteed net refund amount.
How to request a refund
- Check your payment date and your account’s total streamed hours before writing. Public policy cannot establish these account-specific details.
- Email Gyre from the email address used to purchase the subscription.
- Include your account number and a detailed explanation for the return, and clearly ask for a refund.
- Keep the message and any reply. Gyre says it generally processes refund requests within ten business days; this is its stated general timeframe, not a guaranteed completion date.
For card payments through Stripe, the stated fee ceiling is up to 7% of the subscription cost. If you paid using your Gyre account Balance, Gyre says an approved refund goes back to that Balance, minus fees paid when topping it up. The applicable amount is specific to the account and payment.

What happens if you do not qualify for a refund?
Under Gyre’s stated policy, no refund is available if you request it after the 14-day window or your account has streamed for 10 hours or more. If a refund is unavailable, service continues until the end of the current subscription period. Cancelling still matters: it prevents renewal when done before the renewal date, but it does not itself create refund eligibility.

Canceling and deleting your Gyre account
Canceling a subscription and deleting an account are separate actions. Gyre says you must email support to request account deletion; if a subscription is active, request cancellation as well. For a deletion request paired with cancellation, the same refund criteria apply: the request must be within 14 days of payment and total account stream time must be under 10 hours. Gyre states that deletion is performed within seven business days following service termination.

Policy scope and account-specific questions
