In Grand Blue, the confirmed way to find a Cursed Fruit is to check trees and plants: the official Roblox description says they spawn every hour. For an early quest route, community guides report that Almighty Calvin in Anchor Town can reward a random Cursed Fruit chest. Because the game is listed as Early Access, check the current quest tracker and in-game Logbook for live details.
How to find the hourly Cursed Fruit spawn
The official Grand Blue experience description from Eternal Pose states: “Cursed Fruits spawn every hour on trees and plants.” It also says there are multiple ways to obtain them and points players to the in-game Logbook for more information.

- Explore the game and check trees and plants for a fruit spawn.
- Use the Logbook and current in-game information to check what is available and how the live version handles fruit collection.
The official description does not give a per-plant chance, guarantee a fruit on each island, or say how long a fruit remains available after spawning. Treat the hourly timing as the confirmed mechanic, not a promise that a fruit will appear at a particular plant you visit.

One community guide describes getting a Rusty Shovel, digging at marked objectives, and returning to Calvin for a Calvin Chest. Guide accounts differ on the shovel and exact steps, so use the current quest tracker rather than relying on a specific tool location, price, or target count from an older walkthrough.
Other reported ways to obtain Cursed Fruits
Community sources also mention fruit chests from codes or rewards, bosses, progression, shops or traders, achievements, and treasure maps. The official description confirms that multiple methods exist, but does not list or verify these specific routes. Check the Logbook and live game for whether a method is currently available, its requirements, and what it can reward.

Are Cursed Fruit drop rates published?
No official fruit odds are provided in the reviewed official description. A community fruit index lists weights of 0.5% for Darkness, 1.5% for Flame, and 5% for Wolf, but those are community-reported figures—not official rates or guaranteed odds for opening a chest. Do not use them to predict what a chest or other reward will contain.

What happens to fruit skill progress when you switch?
The official experience description says skill levels save for each fruit. That supports retaining skill progress associated with a fruit, but does not establish every inventory, storage, or consumption rule. Check the current Logbook or game information before making decisions about how to manage a fruit.

Why “Cursed Fruit” instead of “Devil Fruit”?
“Devil Fruit” is a familiar alternate phrase players may use when asking about the mechanic, but the official Grand Blue listing calls these items “Cursed Fruits.” Searching or checking the Logbook using the in-game term is more likely to match the game’s own information.
