The reviewed documentation does not establish a separate device-scale-factor or device-pixel-ratio option.
Set the render viewport with browser width and height
In GrabzIt’s JavaScript API parameter interface, use bwidth and bheight. The documented defaults are 1366 pixels wide by 1170 pixels high, and the maximum for each is 10000 pixels. In the Node.js client, use the corresponding browserWidth and browserHeight options; its documentation gives the same defaults and maximums.

Choose viewport dimensions to match the layout you want the website to render. For example, a narrower browser width may trigger a responsive or mobile layout if the site supports one. These settings describe the browser window, not a guarantee about the final image’s pixel dimensions.
JavaScript API parameters
Pass the dimensions as capture options using the JavaScript API’s parameter names:

Viewport size is not output image size
GrabzIt’s bwidth and bheight determine the browser dimensions used while rendering. The width and height image options describe the resulting image or thumbnail dimensions. If a page must render at a particular responsive breakpoint, change the browser width; changing only the output image width does not change the viewport at which the page was rendered.

Keep the settings aligned with the task: set the viewport for layout and set output dimensions for the image you need. The Node.js documentation lists browser dimensions separately from image dimensions, reflecting this distinction.
Get GrabzIt’s documented high-definition output
For the JavaScript parameter interface, set hd=1 to enable high definition. GrabzIt documents this mode as doubling image dimensions. Set hd=0 for standard definition. This is a documented resolution mode, not evidence of a freely configurable browser device scale factor.

The reviewed GrabzIt references do not specify an independent deviceScaleFactor or device-pixel-ratio option. If you need a precise physical-pixel scale control rather than GrabzIt’s standard/high-definition choice, do not assume hd is interchangeable with that setting.
Request a mobile version of a site
To request a mobile version with GrabzIt, set requestas=1 and pair it with a standard mobile browser width through bwidth. GrabzIt cautions that not every website has a special mobile version, so the request may not produce a distinct mobile layout. Choose an integration path and protect credentials
GrabzIt’s REST guide shows URL capture parameters in a GET request and HTML capture parameters in a URL-encoded POST body with the application/x-www-form-urlencoded content type. Do not expose an application key in a client-side REST call. The REST guide recommends using the JavaScript API for client-side use; keep credentials in a protected server-side environment when making authenticated REST requests. Troubleshooting viewport and output settings
- The page still uses its desktop layout: Confirm that the browser width is actually set with
bwidthorbrowserWidth. For a mobile request, setrequestas=1as well; a distinct mobile layout depends on the site offering one. - The image has unexpected dimensions: Check the output
