The Google Pixel 7 Pro 5G launched in India in 2022 with a manufacturer’s MRP of ₹84,999. In October 2026, a price tracker reported ₹36,499 for the 128 GB Hazel model at Amazon, but every listing it tracked was marked out of stock. Treat that figure as a dated report, not a price you can buy at today. This guide covers Google’s full specification list, the launch pricing history, what the current tracker shows, and what to check before you buy an older flagship.
Pixel 7 Pro 5G specifications
Google lists the Pixel 7 Pro as a 2022 phone. The table below uses Google’s official Pixel phone specification page and its Pixel 7 Pro product sheet as the reference.

Display
The 6.7-inch QHD+ panel supports a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz through Google’s Smooth Display setting, and its LTPO OLED construction allows the screen to lower its refresh rate when static content is shown. Google’s product sheet gives HDR brightness of up to 1,000 nits and peak brightness of up to 1,500 nits. Those figures carry the measurement conditions noted in the product sheet, so they should not be read as a universal benchmark for every viewing situation.
Cameras
The phone has three rear cameras. The 48 MP telephoto lens is the one that matters most for zoom: it provides 5x optical zoom, and Google’s Super Res Zoom extends the range to 30x. That 30x figure is a digital extension of the optical lens, so image quality at the upper end will be lower than at 5x. The front camera’s 92.8° field of view is taken from Google’s original listing. Google’s notes do not state the video bitrate or stabilisation specifics, so judge video quality from sample footage rather than from the spec sheet.

Battery and charging
The battery is rated at a typical 5,000 mAh, with a minimum of 4,926 mAh. Google describes battery life as “beyond 24 hours,” and up to 72 hours with Extreme Battery Saver. These are manufacturer estimates. Google’s product sheet states that battery performance varies by use and that charge rates depend on the charger and conditions.
Wired charging is rated at up to 23 W with the Google 30 W USB-C charger. That charger is sold separately, and Google notes that actual charging may be slower than the rated figure. A generic USB-C charger will still charge the phone, but it may not reach the same rate. Wireless charging is Qi-certified and supports Fast Wireless Charging, and the Battery Share feature lets the phone pass power to another device. Google’s listing does not give a wireless wattage figure, so none is stated here.

5G and connectivity in India
The India regional specification groups the phone with Wi-Fi 6 rather than Wi-Fi 6E, and that is the wording to use if you compare it with newer phones. 5G service depends on a carrier plan that includes 5G and on local network coverage. Google says performance depends on operator capability and signal strength, so a 5G-capable handset may still run on 4G in areas where your carrier’s 5G network is absent. The dual-SIM setup uses one physical nano-SIM and one eSIM, so you cannot run two physical SIM cards.

The phone carries an IP68 dust and water rating. Google warns that this resistance can diminish with normal wear, repair, disassembly or damage, and that liquid damage voids the warranty. The rating is a starting point, not a guarantee for a used or previously repaired unit.

India price: launch MRP and current tracker listings
The two India prices you will see online come from different dates and contexts, so they cannot be compared as equivalent offers.
Launch MRP, October 2022
Google’s India announcement stated: “Pre-orders are now open in India on Flipkart: the Pixel 7 is priced at an MRP of ₹59,999 and the Pixel 7 Pro at ₹84,999.” Google said the sale would begin on 13 October 2022. That was the launch price, not a current offer. Google’s source for this is its India launch announcement.

Before you buy an older Pixel 7 Pro
Buying a 2022 flagship at a discount can make sense, but only if the specific unit checks out. Confirm each of the following before you pay:
- Live listing status: the offer is in stock and the price shown at checkout matches the price you saw.
- Total payable amount, including delivery, taxes and any platform charges.
- Condition: whether the phone is new, refurbished or used, and what the seller’s grading means.
- Exact storage capacity and colour, since the tracked prices vary by variant.
- Seller identity and return terms.
- Warranty: who provides it, its length, and whether it covers the battery and water damage.
- Charger: the 30 W Google charger is sold separately, so check whether one is included before counting on the 23 W rating.
- Battery condition, if the unit is used. The 5,000 mAh rating applies to a new battery, and capacity falls with age.
- Carrier compatibility: confirm that your operator supports 5G on the phone’s bands before relying on 5G.
How long the phone will receive updates
Google’s current specification page states five years of Pixel updates for this model. Google defines that period as at least five years from the date the device first became available on the Google Store in the United States. It is therefore a promised support period that started at US launch, not a countdown of years remaining from today. Google’s India launch announcement also described at least five years of security updates. Check the current support status on Google’s Pixel phone hardware specifications page before you buy, since the support window is set by Google and not by the seller.
