When specifications do emerge, Fold figures should be reported separately for the cover screen and the inner display. A useful comparison will also distinguish screen size, pixel resolution, aspect ratio, and refresh range rather than treating resolution alone as a complete description of a display.
What other Pixel 12 rumors say—and what they do not prove
Possible Fold display technology
A leak-tracking page updated September 3, 2026, reports a claim that Samsung Display is developing dual ultra-thin glass panels for a future Google foldable. That is a supply-chain rumor about panel technology, not a confirmed Pixel 12 Fold feature; it gives neither a model number nor a resolution. iDevice’s report should be read with that distinction in mind.

Expected Tensor G7 debut
In May 2026, Gadgets 360 Turbo reported that Tensor G7 was expected to debut with the Pixel 12 generation. This remains a reported expectation, not confirmation of the devices or their screens. The report does not establish model identifiers or display resolutions.
How to distinguish confirmed specifications from leaks
Google’s official Pixel hardware specifications provide a reference for devices Google has listed, but the specifications reviewed there do not establish Pixel 12 details. Treat third-party codenames, component expectations, and supply-chain claims as rumors unless Google publishes specifications or traceable regulatory records identify the devices.
