First, close banners and pop-ups, scroll through the page once to trigger content that loads on demand, then capture it again. If sections are still blank, check whether the page is unusually tall, embeds content in an iframe, or uses PDF rendering or custom scrolling—those cases may exceed what GoFullPage can capture reliably.
Try these quick fixes first
- Close overlays: Dismiss pop-ups, dialogs, cookie notices, and information bars that cover the page.
- Load scroll-triggered content: Scroll from the top to the bottom once, pausing where needed for images or other content to appear. Then return to the top and run GoFullPage again.
- Update the browser and extension: Check Chrome and GoFullPage for updates through their normal update flows. The FAQ’s references to Chrome 76 or 77 and GoFullPage versions earlier than 6.4 are historical, not current version recommendations.

Diagnose the blank area by where it appears
Only content that appears after scrolling is missing
The page may load images or sections only as they approach the viewport. Scroll through the page before capturing so the content has an opportunity to load. If the site loads slowly, pause on affected areas before trying again.

The lower part of a very long page is blank
A full-page screenshot is one large image, and an extremely tall result can exceed practical image-size limits. GoFullPage’s FAQ says an image that is too large may break and appear as a blank white page. It can split some large captures into multiple images, but warns that a capture requiring 10 or more images may not complete. High pixel-density displays can contribute to the final image becoming too large.
Try reducing the amount of page you capture—for example, use a smaller region if the page allows it, or shorten the page before taking the screenshot. If the capture is split, check each output image rather than assuming the full page will be a single file. GoFullPage FAQ

Content inside an embedded frame is missing
An iframe is a page embedded inside another page. GoFullPage’s permissions explanation says it prompts for optional permission when a page includes an iframe; access is needed to scroll and capture embedded content. If you trust the extension and need that content, accept the relevant permission prompt. If permission is denied, GoFullPage’s article says it will not run on that page, though it can still work on pages without iframes. GoFullPage permissions article
The page is a PDF or controls scrolling itself
The FAQ says GoFullPage cannot access or scroll a PDF document. It also notes that sites using custom JavaScript to control scrolling may not capture properly. These are compatibility limits, not problems that scrolling once or changing a normal capture setting is guaranteed to fix. If GoFullPage reports an error, contact its support team. GoFullPage FAQ

What the old version advice means
The GoFullPage FAQ’s specific references to Chrome 76 or 77 and extension versions below 6.4 describe older compatibility issues. The store’s surfaced version history says version 6.4 fixed blank sections associated with zoomed-in pages.
