Is Ghost of Yōtei available on PC?
According to Sucker Punch’s official game information, Ghost of Yōtei launched for PlayStation 5 on October 2, 2025, and supports PlayStation 5 Pro. The consulted official materials do not establish a PC release, PC requirements, or a PC storefront listing. As a result, there is no verified PC build for which PC-specific crash, stuttering, or launch instructions can be given.

What about the October 2026 update?
PlayStation announced that Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition and patch v.2.0 would arrive on October 1, 2026 globally, and October 2 in some territories. The announcement concerns the PlayStation release; it does not announce a PC port. See PlayStation’s announcement for its dated details.

What do the crash fixes in the patch notes mean?
Sucker Punch’s historical PS5 patch notes document fixes for specific, uncommon crash situations. Patch 1.010 addressed a rare crash with ray tracing enabled and another rare crash in a particular mission situation. Patch 1.011 addressed several crashes related to memory issues. Patch 1.008 also lists rare crashes in named gameplay situations. These notes describe fixes recorded for particular game versions; they do not establish a general stuttering fix, show that those crashes remain unresolved, or apply to a PC port.
The official patch archive retrieved for this article lists Patch 1.602 as its newest entry, but that archive snapshot predates the announced October 2026 v.2.0 schedule. Check the live archive for current version information rather than treating 1.602 as the latest patch now.

What should you do if you are having a real problem?
If you are trying to run it on a PC
Do not rely on purported Yōtei PC requirements, driver settings, overlays, file-verification steps, or crash-code fixes unless an official PC release is established. The sources available here do not verify a PC build, so they cannot support PC-specific troubleshooting advice.
If you are playing on PS5 or PS5 Pro
For a genuine console crash or other technical problem, use the support request route on Sucker Punch’s official support site. The official materials cited here do not provide a step-by-step console repair procedure, so this article does not prescribe one.
