Head to Green Hill Zone and defeat Dr. Eggman. Beebom’s September 8 guide reports that Eggman spawns twice per match, but that count is secondary reporting and may change. Epic’s August 20, 2026 season announcement confirms the pistol is part of Chapter 7 Season 4: Override; it does not provide the boss route or verify the current loot table.

How to approach the fight
Green Hill Zone may be busy: Beebom notes that weekly quests also send players there, so other players may contest the boss or the weapon. The guide describes Eggman using a projectile with an arc and an expanding-area slam. Watch for those attacks, and be prepared for other players to join the fight.

Beebom reports that Midas’ Masterpiece has seven shots total and disappears once they are spent. Its reported damage is 125 base damage and 313 headshot damage against players. These are figures from the September guide, not a guarantee of current stats; game patches may change them. Epic’s August update notes describe it as a single-fire golden pistol with limited ammunition, capable of eliminating foes in a single headshot.

Is there another way to get it?
Epic’s August 2026 update notes said the pistol would have a higher chance of spawning during Power Hours on August 22, from 2–4 p.m. ET and 9–11 p.m. ET. Those event windows have passed, so they are not a current option. The cited official materials do not establish another live acquisition route or confirm whether defeating Eggman is still the sole route.
