If you want another game like ARC Raiders, start with the part you want to keep: PvPvE pressure, the risk of losing a run, scavenging and extraction, or a particular setting and pace. Hunt: Showdown 1896 is the strongest supported alternative for tense PvPvE extraction, but its objective is a bounty hunt—not scavenging in a science-fiction world. Gray Zone Warfare is a more tactical adjacent option, though the available evidence does not establish a close feature-for-feature match.
What makes a game feel like ARC Raiders?
ARC Raiders is a multiplayer extraction adventure from Embark Studios, released worldwide on PC and consoles on October 30, 2025, according to Nexon’s release announcement. Its official description sets the action on a dangerous future Earth: players scavenge while facing mechanized ARC enemies and rival Raiders, then try to extract valuable loot. The result combines a science-fiction threat with a colorful, atmospheric adventure tone (official site; Steam listing).

Those ingredients are not interchangeable. A game can share extraction and PvP without sharing ARC Raiders’ third-person perspective, AI enemy threat, scavenging focus, or setting. Compare alternatives by the specific part of the loop you want to repeat:
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →- PvPvE encounters: You face both other players and non-player threats.
- High-stakes extraction: Reaching an exit with your gains matters.
- Scavenging: Finding useful loot is central, rather than simply completing a hunt objective.
- Co-op and access: Party size, supported platforms, and cross-platform play determine whether your group can join.
- Perspective and atmosphere: Third-person science fiction feels different from a first-person horror-western hunt.
On the Steam listing, ARC Raiders supports solo play and parties of up to three. Its official site advertises cross-platform social play across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. These are useful reference points, but check each alternative’s current platform and party details before choosing it.

Hunt: Showdown 1896 is the closest fit for PvPvE extraction tension
Hunt: Showdown 1896 is the clearest recommendation if what you want is the pressure of competing against players while dangerous AI targets shape the run. Crytek describes it as a competitive first-person PvP bounty-hunting game with substantial PvE elements. Players track down bosses, kill them, claim a bounty, and fight to extract. A June 2026 Crytek announcement likewise characterizes it as an extraction shooter built around survival horror and competitive bounty hunting, with solo players or teams pursuing Bounty Tokens and extracting.
The overlap with ARC Raiders is the risk-and-reward structure: PvE threats and other players both matter, and getting out with what you secured is part of the objective. The difference is the run’s purpose. Hunt centers on tracking and claiming a bounty; ARC Raiders foregrounds scavenging in a hostile sci-fi environment. Hunt is also first-person and set in a corrupted American West in 1896, rather than ARC Raiders’ third-person future Earth (Hunt official site; Hunt game page).

Choose Hunt if bounty pursuit, horror atmosphere, and contested extraction sound more appealing than ARC-style surface scavenging. It is a strong match in tension and broad PvPvE structure, not a mechanically identical substitute.
Gray Zone Warfare is an adjacent pick for tactical shooting
Gray Zone Warfare may suit players who care more about tactical shooting and a grounded island setting than about reproducing ARC Raiders’ exact loop. MADFINGER Games announced its Early Access launch for April 30, 2024, describing it as a tactical shooter set on Lamang Island (MADFINGER Games’ release announcement).

- Capture and Tame Dinosaurs: Discover over 100 different dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures on the island, finding ways to tame them into useful additions for your tribe's dyno herd
- Survive Above All: Hunger, thirst, basic safety, and protecting yourself from the weather are all part of the game
- Harvest, Hunt and Build: Cut down trees and turn them into a basic home, which you can quickly expand into a Jurassic estate. Hunt for meat, scavenge for plants (or start your own garden!)
- Customize Everything: An extensive crafting system invites you to mix and match materials scavenged from the island, while also modifying the colors, textures, shapes, and styles
- Explore the Island: Solve the mystery of The ARK as you explore this massive island, discovering Explorer's Notebooks (filled with clues!) throughout
That description supports calling it a tactical alternative, but it does not establish how its current modes, party options, extraction systems, or PvPvE structure compare with ARC Raiders. Check the game’s current listing and details before buying or recommending it for a particular group; do not assume that the shared shooter label means the same kind of run.
Pick by the part of the loop you want
| What you want | Best-supported choice | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| PvPvE pressure and a tense extraction objective | Hunt: Showdown 1896 | First-person bounty hunting against bosses and rival Hunters; the objective is to claim and extract a bounty, not to scavenge as in ARC Raiders. |
| Tactical shooting and a grounded island setting | Gray Zone Warfare | Its developer describes it as a tactical shooter set on Lamang Island. A close match on extraction, PvPvE, or party systems is not established by that description. |
| Third-person sci-fi scavenging against machines and Raiders | ARC Raiders | The reference point: mechanized ARC enemies, rival players, loot, and extraction on a dangerous future Earth. |
If you are weighing other extraction shooters, compare their current perspective, threat mix, objective, party support, and platform availability against those same questions. Current details for titles such as Escape from Tarkov, Delta Force, Arena Breakout: Infinite, and Marathon are not established here, so verify their modes and availability rather than assuming they match.

Co-op and communication can change the fit
ARC Raiders supports solo play as well as groups of up to three on the Steam listing, and its official site advertises cross-platform social play across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Those facts make it important to check whether a recommended alternative supports your preferred group size and platforms. A gaming headset with a microphone is an optional convenience for coordinating with a small party; the cited game sources do not establish that one is required.
