That is a reported price, not confirmation that the offer is still live. The discount applies to the standard 10.9-inch FE—not the larger FE+—and is most appealing if you will use cellular data and want the included S Pen.
What the reported Amazon deal covers
The deal report identifies a U.S. Galaxy Tab S10 FE with 5G and 128GB storage at $549.99 on August 6, 2026. It calls the price $100 below a $649.99 list-price comparison. The report does not establish the seller, condition, color, fulfillment method, whether the discount required a coupon or membership, or whether the price remained available on August 16, 2026. Check those details on the listing before ordering; price and marketplace terms can change.
Technobezz’s August 6 deal report is the source for the Amazon price. Samsung’s launch announcement set the U.S. 128GB Wi-Fi model’s starting price at $499.99 and the 5G version’s at $599.99. On that launch-price comparison, $549.99 is $50 below the 5G starting price; it is not a $100 saving against every S10 FE version.
Samsung’s own captured product pages have shown different Wi-Fi pricing at different times, including $549.99 and a promotional $469.99. Those are historical page captures, not verified August 2026 offers. Compare the exact 5G configuration against the price at checkout rather than relying only on a crossed-out list price. Samsung’s launch prices and specifications are in its U.S. launch announcement.

Is $549.99 a good price?
It is a reasonable reported price if you specifically want the 5G 128GB version. Against Samsung’s $599.99 launch starting price for 5G, it is a $50 reduction; the deal report’s $100 figure uses a $649.99 comparison price. The value is stronger for a buyer who will actually use cellular connectivity and make use of the bundled pen. For a Wi-Fi-only buyer, paying extra for cellular hardware is hard to justify, and Samsung promotions on the Wi-Fi model have varied.
There is also a much lower historical benchmark: Android Authority reported a $334.99 Prime Day price for the tablet. That past promotion does not establish today’s price or guarantee another such offer, but it shows why $549.99 should not automatically be treated as an all-time bargain. See Android Authority’s historical deal coverage.

What you get: a 90 Hz LCD and included S Pen
The screen is smoother than 60 Hz, but not flagship AMOLED
The standard Tab S10 FE has a 10.9-inch LCD with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 90 Hz. Scrolling, interface animation, compatible games, and pen movement can look smoother than on a conventional 60 Hz display. “Up to” matters: the screen may use a lower refresh rate depending on what is displayed and the device’s settings. The panel is LCD, so do not expect the deep blacks and contrast of Samsung’s Dynamic AMOLED 2X tablets, or the 120 Hz refresh rate of the Tab S10+ and Ultra.
Samsung’s mobile press specification lists the 10.9-inch panel at 2304 × 1440, and TechRadar’s review also gives that resolution. Samsung’s U.S. consumer comparison module has displayed a conflicting 2880 × 1800 figure, so the figures should not be treated as interchangeable. For a technical specification, use Samsung’s mobile press page and see TechRadar’s review.

The pen is in the standard package
Samsung lists the S Pen in the standard Tab S10 FE box, alongside the tablet, a USB-C-to-USB-C cable, and an ejection pin. The pen suits handwriting, diagrams, document markup, and sketching in apps such as Samsung Notes. Samsung’s specifications say this included S Pen does not support Bluetooth Low Energy, so it does not provide the Bluetooth remote-control functions associated with some higher-tier S Pens. A keyboard is not listed in the standard contents. Check the specific Amazon SKU for its package contents, especially if the offer is a marketplace bundle or open-box listing. Samsung’s 128GB product page lists the box contents.
Specifications that matter for everyday use
| Specification | Galaxy Tab S10 FE (standard model) | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 10.9-inch LCD; up to 90 Hz | Smoother than 60 Hz in supported use, but not a 120 Hz AMOLED panel. |
| Processor | Samsung Exynos 1580 | A midrange tablet platform; the cited specifications do not establish flagship performance. |
| Memory and storage | 8GB RAM/128GB or 12GB RAM/256GB, depending on configuration | Choose the listing’s exact capacity; usable internal storage is lower after system software. |
| Expansion | microSD support up to 2TB | The 2TB figure refers to supported expansion, not built-in storage. |
| Cameras | 13MP rear; 12MP ultra-wide front | The front camera is suited to video calls and group framing. |
| Battery and charging | 8,000mAh; charging up to 45W | Samsung claims up to 20 hours of video playback under its test conditions; real use varies. |
| Durability | IP68 water and dust resistance | A useful protection rating, not a promise that the tablet is waterproof or suitable for deliberate immersion. |
| Connectivity | Wi-Fi 6E family support; separate 5G configuration available | 5G hardware does not include mobile service; a compatible carrier plan is required. |
Samsung also lists Circle to Search, Math Solver, Handwriting Assist, Samsung Notes integration, and cross-device functions among the software features. Availability can depend on software version, region, account, and compatible Galaxy devices. Specifications and family comparisons are on Samsung’s U.S. Tab S10 FE page.

Price comparison by configuration
| Configuration | Price evidence | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| Wi-Fi, 128GB | $499.99 U.S. launch starting price | Historical launch price, not a current quote. Samsung pages captured at other times showed $549.99 and a promotional $469.99. |
| 5G, 128GB | $599.99 U.S. launch starting price; $549.99 Amazon price reported August 6, 2026 | The deal report compared $549.99 with $649.99 and claimed $100 off. Its live status was not confirmed for August 16. |
| Wi-Fi, 256GB | $669.99 on a captured Samsung product page | Historical page pricing, not a verified current offer. Check the selected capacity and price at checkout. |
The launch figures come from Samsung’s announcement; the 256GB captured-page context is on Samsung’s 256GB listing. Different configuration, seller, condition, and promotion mean these values are not directly interchangeable.

The S10 FE makes sense if
- You want an included stylus for classes, meeting notes, annotation, or casual drawing.
- You already use Samsung Galaxy devices and value Samsung Notes, Quick Share, and related ecosystem features.
- You need a 5G-connected tablet for travel or field use and understand that mobile data requires a carrier plan.
- You want a midrange tablet with microSD expansion and IP68-rated resistance for everyday family use.
Consider another option if
- You prioritize OLED contrast, HDR presentation, or a 120 Hz display: Samsung places the Tab S10+ and Ultra above the FE, with Dynamic AMOLED 2X panels and up to 120 Hz.
- You need high-end performance for demanding video editing, 3D work, or heavy multitasking; the cited specifications do not support describing the Exynos 1580 as flagship-class.
- You need a keyboard in the box or a Bluetooth-capable S Pen.
- You are choosing Wi-Fi and want the lowest price: compare Samsung’s current promotion and other verified offers for that exact configuration before paying for 5G.
- You already own a recent premium Galaxy Tab; the FE’s LCD and midrange positioning may not be a meaningful upgrade.
Alternatives in Samsung’s tablet range
| Model | What changes | Better fit for |
|---|---|---|
| Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ | 13.1-inch display and Samsung-stated video playback up to 21 hours; larger and typically more expensive | Buyers who want more screen space and accept reduced portability. |
| Galaxy Tab S10+ | 12.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X and up to 120 Hz | Readers who value a more premium display over the FE’s lower price positioning. |
| Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra | Samsung’s largest display and flagship specification tier | Buyers with demanding or large-screen needs; excessive for basic notes, browsing, and streaming. |
| Galaxy Tab S9 FE | Previous FE generation; current price and comparative value are not established here | Shoppers who find a verified discount and are comfortable comparing the older model’s specifications. |
Samsung’s product-family comparison covers the Tab S10 FE, FE+, S10+, and S10 Ultra. No current price comparison for the older FE model or non-Samsung tablets is established here.

Check these details before you order
- Confirm the model: It should say Galaxy Tab S10 FE, not FE+, S9 FE, or another tablet.
- Confirm connectivity and storage: Select 5G and 128GB if you are trying to match the reported $549.99 offer. Do not assume the price carries over to Wi-Fi or 256GB.
- Check condition and seller: Make sure it is new if that is what you want, and review who sells and fulfills the order.
- Verify the package: Confirm the S Pen is included for the selected listing. A keyboard is not part of Samsung’s listed standard box contents.
- Inspect the final terms: Check the checkout price, tax and shipping, any coupon or membership condition, return window, and applicable warranty before placing the order.
