Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?

That is not a fully storage-matched comparison: Apple’s Air starts with 256GB, while AT&T’s displayed S25 starting price does not establish the corresponding storage tier. The Air gives you a larger, thinner screen; the S25 has a dedicated ultrawide camera and 3x telephoto camera. Your better buy depends chiefly on which features and operating system matter to you—and on the actual price and terms available when you purchase.
How much more does the iPhone Air cost?
AT&T lists a retail starting price of $799.99 for the Galaxy S25 and $999.99 for the iPhone Air, a $200 difference. These are retailer-page starting prices accessed October 7, 2026, not guaranteed checkout totals. Apple announced a US iPhone Air starting price of $999 in September 2025, with 256GB of storage. Check the live listings for the S25 storage configuration and current terms before treating the prices as like-for-like.

AT&T also displays installment and trade-in offers. An advertised monthly amount after bill credits is conditional, not the same as an unlocked retail price. Compare the full installment total, trade-in eligibility, required service plan, taxes and fees; do not compare a carrier-credit price against an outright price as if both were the same deal. AT&T’s comparison listing is the source for its displayed starting prices and offer terms.

Which phone has the better screen and design?
The iPhone Air has the larger stated display and is notably thinner by listed dimensions: 5.64 mm versus the S25’s 0.28 inches (about 7.1 mm). The Galaxy S25 is slightly lighter at 162 g, compared with 165 g for the Air. Screen diagonal measurements are not perfectly interchangeable: Samsung reports both full-rectangle and rounded-corner measurements, and diagonal size alone does not show usable screen area or shape.
Both phones specify refresh rates up to 120Hz. Apple lists an outdoor peak brightness of 3,000 nits for the Air; that is a manufacturer specification, not a head-to-head brightness measurement against the S25. If a slim profile and larger panel are your priorities, the Air’s dimensions favor that choice. If you prefer a slightly lighter phone, the S25 has the edge.

How do their cameras differ?
The S25 has three rear camera modules: a 50MP wide camera, a 12MP ultrawide and a 10MP telephoto with optical 3× zoom. Samsung also lists digital zoom up to 30× and video recording up to 8K at 30fps. The Air’s rear system is a 48MP Fusion main camera with optical-quality 2× telephoto capability, as Apple describes it.

Can you compare battery life from the published figures?
No. Samsung gives battery capacity—4,000mAh typical and 3,885mAh rated—while AT&T lists up to 27 hours for the iPhone Air and Apple describes all-day battery life. Capacity and a usage-time claim are different kinds of information, and the listed runtime is not a common test against Samsung’s capacity figure. These figures alone cannot establish an endurance winner.

- You want a dedicated ultrawide camera and a telephoto module specified for optical 3× zoom.
- You prefer the smaller stated display or the marginally lower listed weight.
- You are already invested in Samsung’s or Android’s ecosystem.
Choose the iPhone Air if
- You want the larger stated display and a thinner body.
- You prefer iOS or use Apple devices and services.
- You want 256GB as the listed base storage and are comfortable paying the higher starting price.
The published specifications do not determine a universal winner: they do not establish a performance, battery, camera-quality or durability winner from independent head-to-head testing.
