Which phone is smaller, and which has the larger screen?
The Galaxy A35 is the choice for a larger display: Samsung lists it at 16.83cm across the full rectangle, roughly 6.6 inches, or 16.37cm when measured around the rounded corners. The X300 FE’s display is 6.31 inches. Despite the smaller screen, vivo lists a higher resolution of 2640 × 1216, compared with the A35’s 1080 × 2340.

Screen measurements use different conventions, so the diagonal figures are useful for broad comparison rather than a perfectly identical measurement.

The X300 FE has the more versatile listed rear-camera hardware: alongside a 50MP main camera with OIS, it has a dedicated 50MP OIS telephoto camera with 3× optical zoom and an 8MP ultrawide. That makes the vivo the stronger pick if a dedicated telephoto lens or autofocus front camera is important to you on paper. It does not prove that its photos or videos look better: megapixel counts and lens specifications do not establish image quality, and no comparable camera testing is available here. The A35’s macro camera is a distinct option, but its presence alone does not establish better close-up results.

How much faster is the X300 FE?
The component specifications point to a substantial difference in processor tier: vivo lists a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 manufactured on a 3nm process, along with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Samsung’s cited A35 specification lists an octa-core processor with 2.4GHz and 2GHz clock speeds, but does not name a processor in the cited excerpt.
These details make the X300 FE the stronger paper choice for demanding workloads. They do not establish a specific speed advantage, gaming frame rate, heat level or sustained performance; those require comparable testing. Choose based on the workloads you care about rather than treating component labels as a measured result.

What do the battery and charging specifications say?
vivo lists a 6500mAh typical battery capacity and 6350mAh rated capacity for the X300 FE, plus 90W wired charging. Its product overview also advertises 40W wireless charging. Samsung lists a 5000mAh battery and 25W wired charging for the A35; wireless charging is not listed on the cited A35 specification page.
The larger stated capacity and higher charging ratings do not establish longer real-world battery life or a particular charging time. Actual endurance and charging can depend on usage, settings, charger and regional configuration.

To work out a meaningful difference, compare live listings for new phones in the same country, with the same storage capacity and a clearly identified seller or sales channel. No A35 price should be inferred from an unavailable listing.
