Lighthouse Games, the studio founded by Forza Horizon co-creator Gavin Raeburn, is linked to two reported trademark filings: “Ignition: Drive the World” and “Wonderland: Drive the World.” They may relate to Lighthouse’s new game, but the studio has not officially confirmed either as its title. The filings do not establish the game’s format, platforms, or release date.
What is “Drive the World”?
“Drive the World” appears in two marks—“Ignition: Drive the World” and “Wonderland: Drive the World”—that Insider Gaming reported on October 5, 2026, as recent filings by Lighthouse Games with the European Union Intellectual Property Office. The report notes game-related classifications 09 and 041. Those details are reported, not independently verified here against EUIPO records; application numbers, filing dates, ownership records, and current status have not been established.

A trademark filing is not a game announcement. Lighthouse’s official material describes the studio’s work as a new intellectual property, but does not confirm that either phrase is the project’s final public title. The wording and classifications also do not reveal the game’s actual features. Insider Gaming’s report is the source for the reported marks; Lighthouse Games’ official site does not announce a title.

Is it the new Forza Horizon competitor?
It could be a competitor, but that remains a description of Lighthouse’s ambition rather than a confirmed product comparison. Insider Gaming reported, citing a GamesIndustry interview, that Raeburn identified Horizon as the game his team needs to beat: “There is one game really that’s the biggest fish in the pond and that’s Horizon. That’s the game we have to beat.” The quote signals the target; it does not confirm the Lighthouse project’s title, gameplay, or launch plans. GamesIndustry

The confirmed comparison is Forza Horizon 6. Steam lists it with a May 18, 2026 release date. Microsoft described it as an open-world driving game set in Japan and said it would first launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC, with a PlayStation 5 release planned post-launch. Steam’s Xbox Game Studios publisher listing provides the fresher release-status reference; Microsoft’s Forza Horizon 6 announcement gives the original setting and launch-platform details.
What is confirmed about Lighthouse’s game?
Lighthouse Games was founded in 2022 by Gavin Raeburn. The studio’s official founder page identifies him as a Playground Games founder and a creator of the Forza Horizon series. Beyond that background and the reported trademarks, the official Lighthouse material reviewed does not establish a final game title, detailed gameplay, platforms, release date, or publishing partner. CLUTCH is a separate racing game from Maverick Games, not the Lighthouse project. Focus Entertainment announced it on August 24, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a planned Spring 2027 release. Focus describes professional motorsport by day and underground racing, reputation-building, and pursuit by night, alongside vehicle customization. Focus Entertainment’s CLUTCH announcement

The distinction matters: CLUTCH has an announced name, publisher, platforms, release window, and gameplay premise. Lighthouse’s game does not yet have those publicly confirmed details in the official sources reviewed. The two projects should not be treated as interchangeable simply because both are associated with Forza veterans and racing.

Who is Gavin Raeburn?
Raeburn founded Lighthouse Games in 2022. The studio describes him as a Playground Games founder and a creator of the Forza Horizon series, which explains why a new project from his team is being framed against Horizon. That pedigree is relevant context, but it is not evidence that the new game will replicate Horizon’s open-world format or mechanics.
