Forum Markets and Edge Node have formed Forum Edge AI LLC, a majority-owned venture intended to build and operate AI inference capacity at sites in Texas and North Carolina. Announced October 5, 2026, the plan combines an existing Dallas facility, a proposed High Point campus installation and a smaller tower deployment near Dallas. The sites are at different stages; the company’s capacity and revenue figures are targets, not evidence that all planned infrastructure is operating.
How the Forum–Edge Node partnership is structured
Forum Markets announced that it formed Forum Edge AI LLC with Edge Node Inc. on October 2, 2026. Under the arrangement described in the SEC Form 8-K, Forum owns 51% and controls the venture as its sole manager; Edge Node owns 49%. The filing outlines a framework covering data-center real estate, compute infrastructure and reseller arrangements, with separate project entities planned for individual projects.

The announcement positions the venture around inference computing: capacity for running trained AI models, rather than a claim that it is building a single centralized training campus. Edge Node’s founder and CEO, Mallik Panda, described the goal as bringing high-performance inference closer to workloads and customers. That is the company’s rationale for a distributed mix of powered sites, not an independently established performance result.

These project descriptions and milestones come from Forum Markets’ October 5 announcement. Data Center Dynamics reported that full details of the sites had not been shared and that Edge Node had yet to launch its services (October 6 coverage). The announcement therefore describes a mix of existing activity and planned deployments, not three completed, fully operating facilities.

What the 11 MW and 2027 revenue figures mean
Forum says the initial deployment comprises approximately 11 MW of energized capacity and that capacity from this initial deployment is fully allocated to long-term offtake partners. Those are company-reported claims in its announcement, not independently verified measurements or proof that all the sites in the rollout table are at their planned capacity. The company also says customer deposits and equipment financing are intended to fund compute capital expenditures, with project-level financing and no cross-collateralization between projects.
The SEC filing separately describes potential project-level entities, member contributions, cash distributions, remedies if a member fails to make a required capital contribution and an equity exchange tied to specified milestones. It also says Forum was in ongoing discussions with multiple potential customers for dedicated GPU capacity. That filing statement does not independently confirm the press release’s claim that initial capacity is fully allocated.

Forum introduced full-year 2027 consolidated revenue guidance of $125 million to $175 million. The company says the guidance reflects 100% of joint-venture revenue for the initial phase and depends on rollout assumptions. It also said it continued to anticipate becoming cash-flow positive in early 2027. These are management forecasts, not reported results; the announcement identifies risks including power availability, permitting, site capacity, equipment delivery, customer contracts, financing and whether proposed transactions close.
What could change the rollout
The projects should be assessed individually because their readiness and dependencies differ. Dallas already has equipment capacity that Forum says is running, while its increase to about 4 MW is a future target. High Point depends on completion of a property transaction and, for capacity beyond the initial installation, cooling work. The tower plan depends on site agreements and a deployment expected later than the initial Dallas activity.

- Power and site readiness: Utility capacity, transformer equipment, cooling and the availability of suitable powered locations affect how much compute can be installed.
- Permits and construction: The company lists permitting among execution risks; energization dates should be treated as targets.
- Equipment and financing: GPU and other equipment delivery, customer deposits, equipment financing and project-level capital arrangements all affect delivery and cost.
- Commercial commitments: Forecast revenue depends on customer contracts and the company’s expected rollout, not capacity figures alone.
Because the announcement is dated October 2026 and includes forward-looking milestones, subsequent status updates are needed to determine which transactions closed, which deployments energized and whether commercial revenue began on schedule.
