Fortnite quests are tasks in the Quests tab, but their names and availability can depend on the season, mode, or Quest Pack. Daily quests reset each day, Weekly quests refresh on Tuesdays, and Epic lists Seasonal quests as a major XP source. “Story quests” are not established as a permanent, universal category in Epic’s current support guidance; Global Daily Bonus Goals, meanwhile, are a specific Quest Pack mechanic.

Epic’s XP guidance identifies Daily, Weekly, and Seasonal quests as XP sources and separately describes Kickstart quests. It also says XP earned by playing any Fortnite experience advances all active passes simultaneously. Match play and eligible Creative maps can provide XP too, so quests are not the only progression route.

When do Daily and Weekly Quests reset?
Daily Quests
Daily quests reset each day. The exact current reset time for Battle Royale is shown in the Daily tile in the Quests tab, so use that in-game time rather than assuming a universal clock time. Epic’s Battle Royale Daily Quest reset help page directs players to that tile.
Weekly Quests
Epic says Weekly quests refresh every Tuesday. The Quests tab is the practical place to confirm which tasks are active for your account and experience.

Where to find and complete quests
- Launch the Fortnite experience you want to play.
- From the lobby, open the Quests tab and review the sections for that experience. You can also open Quests during a match.
- Choose an available task and complete its objective in the relevant experience. Check the quest entry for its current requirements and progress.
Epic’s quest instructions emphasize that quests differ between Fortnite experiences. Its examples include Rocket Racing, LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, LEGO Fortnite Brick Life, and Fortnite Festival. A task listed for one experience should not be assumed to appear or work identically in another.
What are Story quests in Fortnite?
“Story quests” may describe narrative objectives presented in a particular season or experience, but Epic’s current general support pages do not define it as a permanent category with a fixed schedule or reward. Treat the in-game label and the specific season’s official announcements as the authority for what a particular story objective asks you to do. Avoid applying labels from an older season to the current one: for example, Epic’s 2021 Chapter 3 Season 1 article described a narrative quest line called “The Device,” which was specific to that historical season.
How Global Daily Bonus Goals work for Quest Packs
Some Quest Packs make Global Daily Bonus Goals part of earning the pack’s included V-Bucks. Epic says only three such goals per day count toward that pack progress; completing additional Daily Quests does not add more progress to this requirement. The eligible goals can be completed in any Fortnite experience.

To review the relevant stages and progress, select the Quest Pack in the Quests list. These pack-specific goals are distinct from ordinary Daily quests and from any other objective described informally as a bonus quest. See Epic’s Quest Pack V-Bucks support page for its instructions.

Epic also describes temporary Supercharged XP, periodic double-XP events, and Victory Crown XP as additional sources or bonuses. Their availability can vary, and the official guidance does not establish fixed XP amounts that apply across every season, mode, or event. Check the current in-game details instead of relying on an old XP figure or quest list.
