3. Use the aircraft’s documentation for procedures and numbers
Look for the Felis-specific manual and checklists supplied with the aircraft or linked by its publisher. Laminar Research notes that aircraft manuals may be available within the simulator installation or on the X-Plane website. The product listing does not provide enough information to establish exact fuel settings, takeoff figures, or approach flows; use the current aircraft documentation for those details.

Once you are comfortable locating the controls and reading the aircraft’s instruments, study the EFB and CIVA INS procedures, then move on to the autopilot and autothrottle. Their advertised presence does not mean they are interchangeable with the workflows in another aircraft. Follow the Felis documentation for setup and use.

5. Treat video walkthroughs as supplementary
A third-party Q8Pilot listing describes a tutorial flight covering the aircraft from cold and dark through flight phases, including the built-in INS. Do you need a joystick or yoke?
No particular controller model is established as necessary for this aircraft.
