FLSUN rates the T1 delta 3D printer for speeds up to 1,000 mm/s, but that figure is a maximum specification—not a promise that every model will print at that speed with good results. Independent reviewers found it fast, while also noting noise, careful assembly, and single-filament operation as real tradeoffs.
What does the T1’s 1,000 mm/s rating mean?
FLSUN lists a maximum printing speed of 1,000 mm/s and maximum acceleration of 30,000 mm/s². These describe different aspects of motion: speed is the stated top rate, while acceleration is how quickly the print head can change speed. A printer may not reach its maximum speed on every move, especially on a small or detailed model with frequent direction changes.

Material flow is another constraint. FLSUN lists maximum volumetric flow of 90 mm³/s, and separately gives a gravimetric-method result of 65 mm³/s using FLSUN PLA-HS at 230°C. The test condition matters: neither flow figure establishes the speed or quality a different filament, temperature, nozzle, or model will achieve. The manufacturer’s specifications are on the FLSUN T1 product page.

In practice, speed is useful only when the printer can deposit enough plastic and maintain the desired detail. A high maximum can shorten suitable prints, but it does not tell you how long your own model will take or how accurate it will be.

What did independent reviewers find?
Fast output, with quality affected by setup and speed
TechRadar’s reviewer reported that the T1 arrived essentially flat-packed and required careful assembly. Early prints had minor surface imperfections; tightening a grub screw around the suspended head improved them. The review describes a rapidly printed Benchy and impressive print quality and dimensional accuracy, with accuracy improving further when the printer was slowed down.
In TechRadar’s own dimensional test, the average combined X/Y error was 0.133 mm, and the printer received a 29/30 total benchmark score. Those are results from that review’s test, not guaranteed outcomes for every T1, setup, or slicer profile. See the TechRadar FLSUN T1 review for its test details.

Useful for larger models, but loud
GamesRadar+ says its reviewer tested a manufacturer-provided sample over several weeks, printing a Benchy and tabletop-gaming terrain. The reviewer found the printer fast and useful for terrain and larger models, while flagging noise and the lack of multi-color capability. That account reflects the reviewer’s sample and use, not a guarantee about every machine. Read the GamesRadar+ FLSUN T1 review.

Noise
TechRadar describes the T1’s CPAP cooling system as very loud, even with the recommended silencer. That may matter if the printer will run near a desk, living space, or shared work area.

Assembly and adjustment
The setup is not necessarily a simple unboxing-and-printing experience. TechRadar’s report that a small mechanical adjustment improved early surfaces underlines why assembly checks and calibration can matter. Allow time to inspect the build and verify settings rather than assuming the headline speed removes setup work.
Single-filament workflow
The T1 is a single-filament printer, so it does not provide multi-color printing as part of the workflow described by the reviewers. If color changes within one model are central to your plans, account for that limitation before choosing it.

Will the T1 fit your prints and materials?
FLSUN lists a build volume of 260 mm in diameter by 330 mm high. The delta layout offers a tall cylindrical working area rather than a rectangular one, so check the footprint of your model as well as its height before buying. A wide, flat object may not fit simply because its longest dimension is below 260 mm.
The official specifications list a 0.4 mm brass nozzle, a maximum nozzle temperature of 300°C, a textured PEI build plate with a maximum bed temperature of 110°C, and 1.75 mm filament. FLSUN lists PLA, PETG, TPU, PVA, PET, ABS, ASA, PA, and PC as compatible materials. Material compatibility does not mean every filament will print well without suitable settings or preparation; confirm the needs of the specific filament you plan to use.

The same product page lists auto-leveling, vibration compensation, filament detection, power-loss resume, monitoring, time-lapse, and a HEPA plus activated-carbon composite filter. These are manufacturer-listed features; availability and behavior can depend on the particular unit and firmware.
Who should consider the FLSUN T1?
The T1 is most compelling for someone who values fast FDM printing, wants a tall build area, and is willing to tolerate noise and spend time checking setup. It is a weaker fit for a quiet shared room, a plug-and-play-first workflow, or projects that depend on multi-color printing.
When comparing it with another printer, use the same model and slicer settings to compare print time, then judge surface quality and dimensional accuracy at the speed you would actually use. Also compare noise at your working distance, assembly and maintenance needs, the shape of the build area, and the filament or color workflow. A maximum-speed figure by itself is not a real-world head-to-head result.
