Flight Centre’s current Australian loyalty program is World360 Rewards, with a free Member tier and a paid Member Plus upgrade. The official material reviewed does not identify a Flight Centre Gold tier, so there is no verified Gold price, qualification route or set of Gold benefits to review. In particular, airline Gold status should not be assumed to apply to Flight Centre.
What “Flight Centre Gold” appears to mean
Flight Centre’s current frequent-flyer guide names World360 Rewards as its loyalty program and discusses airline programs separately, including their own status tiers. The current World360 Rewards terms describe free membership and a paid Member Plus upgrade. Neither source establishes a Flight Centre Gold membership.

That leaves the term unresolved: the available official information does not show whether it refers to a historical offer, a third-party product or a mistaken reference to an airline status tier. Do not treat benefits from an airline’s Gold tier as Flight Centre benefits.

Flight Centre describes World360 Rewards as a way to earn points on eligible travel bookings and selected other activities. Eligible booking categories listed by Flight Centre include flights, hotels, cruises, travel insurance and tours; the program also refers to earning through a rewards shopping marketplace. Flight Centre says members can join for free or upgrade to Member Plus for additional benefits. The exact fee and benefit details are not stated in the terms page reviewed, so check the current membership information before deciding whether the paid tier suits you.

Eligibility
The terms, last updated 24 August 2026, say applicants must be individuals aged 18 or older with an Australian residential address. Applicants must not already hold a World360 Rewards account, must complete signup with the requested information and agree to the terms, and must have their application accepted. The program operator may decide eligibility. These are World360 Rewards rules, not Gold-tier qualification requirements.
Points earning and exclusions
World360 Rewards terms cover points from completed eligible bookings with participating travel brands, certain partner purchases, promotions, referrals and other listed activities. Not every charge or booking qualifies: the terms exclude Flight Centre Business Travel bookings and fees such as service, merchant and card fees from points-earning activity. Booking components may also have different earning rules, and membership details need to match the transaction for points to be allocated. Check the current terms and the conditions for the specific transaction.
Using points
Flight Centre says members may redeem World360 Rewards points on eligible Flight Centre bookings such as flights, hotels, cruises and tours. The terms also describe rewards-store redemptions. Points have no cash value and generally cannot be converted to cash; booking availability, redemption restrictions and the relevant travel provider’s conditions still apply.
Membership cost, renewal and booking fees
World360 Rewards membership is free at the Member level. Member Plus requires payment of the applicable yearly fee. Under the terms, its membership year begins when the fee is paid and renews in recurring 12-month periods unless the member opts out before renewal. The member is responsible for ensuring the renewal fee is paid; if it is not, membership reverts to the free tier. Members may also revert to free membership through their account.

Flight Centre booking charges are separate from any loyalty membership. Its booking information says a Travel Expert Service Fee may apply to store, email or phone bookings, and an Online Booking Fee may apply to online flight bookings. The current fee information gives destination-based online amounts, but charges can change; check the applicable information and the amount shown at checkout. These fees do not establish a Gold membership price or a Gold-member waiver.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to judge whether Member Plus is worth paying for
Because no current Gold membership or Gold-specific fee and benefits are established in the official sources reviewed, a Gold-versus-free value calculation is not possible. For Member Plus, assess the actual fee and benefits published when you join against your own travel plans:
- Recurring cost: Confirm the current annual fee, renewal date and opt-out process.
- Likely eligible activity: Estimate how much of your expected travel spend would qualify, rather than counting every booking charge or business-travel booking.
- Points value for your itinerary: Check the earn rules and whether you can use points on the trips or rewards you would actually choose.
- Benefits you will use: Value only the current, named Member Plus benefits that matter to you; do not assume an unlisted perk.
- Booking costs: Consider applicable channel and destination fees separately from membership.
The terms establish renewal mechanics, but the reviewed terms text does not state the current Member Plus fee or the exact selectable benefits. Without those values and your expected eligible activity, a break-even figure would be speculative.
