Zoom usually shows upcoming meetings in the Meetings tab or through a connected calendar, but that list can appear empty even when meetings still exist. The most common causes are signing into the wrong Zoom account, a delayed sync, calendar permission problems, hidden filters, outdated app data, or incorrect time zone and date settings.
This can happen on the desktop app, mobile app, Zoom web portal, or when Zoom is connected to Google Calendar, Outlook, or another scheduling service. In many cases, the meeting is not deleted—it is just not being displayed because Zoom and the calendar source are not matching properly.

Check You’re Signed Into the Correct Zoom Account
If Zoom is not showing upcoming meetings, the first thing to verify is the account you are using. Many people have more than one Zoom identity: a work account, a personal account, a school account, or an account created through Google, Apple, Facebook, or single sign-on. Upcoming meetings are tied to the account that scheduled them or received the invitation, so signing into a different profile can make the Meetings tab look empty even though the meeting still exists.

On the Zoom desktop app, click your profile picture or initials in the top-right corner and check the email address shown under your name. On mobile, open the Zoom app, tap More or Settings, then review the email address at the top of the screen. In the Zoom web portal, go to zoom.us, sign in, and check the profile email in the left-side account area or under Profile. Compare this address with the email that received the meeting invite or the email you used when scheduling the meeting.
How to switch to the correct Zoom account
- Open Zoom on your device.
- Select your profile picture, initials, or settings menu.
- Choose Sign Out.
- Sign back in using the same method originally used for that account, such as Sign in with Google, Sign in with Apple, SSO, or a direct Zoom email and password.
- Open the Meetings tab and check whether your upcoming meetings appear.
Be especially careful with single sign-on accounts. If your company or school uses SSO, signing in with a regular email and password may open a separate Zoom account with the same or similar email address. For SSO, choose Sign in with SSO, enter your organization’s domain if prompted, and complete the browser-based login. After the app reopens, return to Meetings and confirm the scheduled sessions are visible.
If you were invited to a meeting, check the invitation email and confirm it was sent to the same address shown in Zoom. If the invite went to another email inbox, the meeting may appear on that calendar but not inside the Zoom account you are currently using. In that case, either sign into Zoom with the invited email address, ask the host to resend the invite to your correct account, or manually join using the meeting ID and passcode from the invitation.

If you are signed in to the correct Zoom account but your upcoming meetings still do not appear, the next step is to refresh Zoom and confirm you are looking in the right place. The Zoom desktop and mobile apps can sometimes show a stale meeting list, especially after waking a computer from sleep, switching networks, joining through a browser, or accepting a calendar invite while the app was already open.
Refresh the Zoom desktop app
On Windows or macOS, open the Zoom desktop app and select Meetings from the top navigation. Make sure you are viewing Upcoming, not a previous or recorded meeting area. If the list looks empty or outdated, click your profile picture and choose Check for Updates if available, then fully quit and reopen Zoom. On Windows, right-click the Zoom icon in the system tray and choose Exit. On macOS, select zoom.us in the menu bar and choose Quit Zoom, then launch it again.
- Open the Zoom desktop app.
- Click Meetings.
- Select Upcoming.
- Quit Zoom completely, then reopen it.
- Return to Meetings and check whether the schedule has loaded.
Refresh Zoom on iPhone, iPad, or Android
On mobile, open the Zoom app and tap Meetings at the bottom of the screen. Pull down on the meeting list to refresh it if your device supports swipe-to-refresh. If nothing changes, close the app completely from the app switcher, then reopen it. You can also switch briefly from Wi-Fi to mobile data, or from mobile data to Wi-Fi, to rule out a temporary connection problem that prevents Zoom from fetching the latest meeting data.
- Confirm you are on the Meetings screen, not Team Chat or Home.
- Swipe down on the list to force a refresh.
- Close and reopen the Zoom app.
- Check that your phone has a working internet connection.
Compare with the Zoom web portal
If the app still does not show your meetings, open a browser and go to zoom.us/meeting, then sign in with the same account. The web portal often shows the most direct view of meetings scheduled under your Zoom account. If the meeting appears on the web but not in the app, the issue is likely local to the app cache, app version, or device connection. If it does not appear on the web portal either, the meeting may be tied to another account, a calendar-only invite, or a meeting created by someone else.

| Where to check | What to look for | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Zoom desktop app | Meetings > Upcoming | The app has loaded meetings linked to your signed-in account. |
| Zoom mobile app | Meetings tab | Your mobile app can retrieve your current schedule. |
| Zoom web portal | zoom.us/meeting | The meeting exists under that Zoom account. |
After refreshing, also check whether you are expecting the meeting to appear as a host or as an attendee. Meetings you schedule with your own Zoom account should usually appear in the Zoom meeting list. Meetings where you are only invited may depend on calendar integration or the invitation source, so they might show in Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar before they show inside Zoom.
Fix Calendar Sync and Integration Issues
If your Zoom account is correct and the Meetings tab has been refreshed, the next place to check is your connected calendar. Zoom often shows upcoming meetings by reading events from Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft 365, or Exchange. If that connection expires, permissions change, or the calendar event was created without valid Zoom meeting details, the meeting may not appear in Zoom even though it is visible on your calendar.
Reconnect your calendar in the Zoom web portal
- Open a browser and sign in to the Zoom web portal with the same account you use in the Zoom app.
- Go to Profile, then find the Calendar and Contacts Integration section.
- If a calendar is already connected, check whether it shows an authorization or permission error.
- Select Disconnect if the connection appears stale, then connect the calendar again.
- Choose the correct provider, such as Google, Microsoft 365, or Exchange, and approve the requested permissions.
- Return to the Zoom desktop or mobile app, sign out and back in, then open Meetings again.
When reconnecting, pay close attention to the account shown on the calendar permission screen. Many missing-meeting issues happen because Zoom is signed in with a work account while the calendar connection is authorized for a personal Gmail or Outlook account. If your meetings are on a company calendar, reconnect using that company calendar identity.
Check the calendar event itself
Zoom may not list an event if the calendar invite does not contain a valid Zoom join link or meeting ID. Open the event in your calendar and confirm that the location, description, or conferencing field includes a Zoom URL such as https://zoom.us/j/… or your organization’s Zoom domain. If the event only says “Zoom meeting” without an actual link, edit the event and add Zoom conferencing again using the Zoom add-on, Outlook plugin, or scheduling option.
- Google Calendar: Open the event, select the video conferencing field, and make sure the Zoom add-on is being used instead of another conferencing provider.
- Outlook desktop: Open the invite and confirm the Zoom meeting details are present in the body. If not, use the Zoom Outlook plugin or add-in to recreate the meeting details.
- Outlook on the web: Check that the Zoom add-in is enabled and that you are signed in to the same Zoom account inside the add-in.
- Shared calendars: Make sure you have permission to view full event details, not only “busy” status.
Force a sync on desktop and mobile
On the Zoom desktop app, open Meetings, switch between Upcoming and another tab if available, then quit and relaunch Zoom. On mobile, fully close the Zoom app from the app switcher and reopen it. If the meeting still does not appear, disconnect and reconnect the calendar from the web portal rather than only refreshing the app. For Microsoft or Google accounts managed by an organization, you may also need an admin to allow Zoom calendar permissions before syncing will work.

If you recently changed a meeting time, moved it to another calendar, or were added as an attendee, allow a few minutes for the update to reach Zoom. Calendar changes are not always instant across every app. As a quick workaround, open the calendar event directly and use the join link there while you continue troubleshooting the Zoom meeting list.
Update or Reinstall the Zoom App
If Zoom still is not showing upcoming meetings after you have checked the account, refreshed the Meetings tab, and reviewed calendar sync, the app itself may be the problem. Outdated Zoom versions can fail to load meeting data correctly, especially after Zoom changes its calendar, authentication, or meeting-list behavior. A damaged app cache, incomplete update, or corrupted local settings file can also cause the desktop or mobile app to show an empty schedule even though the meetings appear in the Zoom web portal.
Start by updating Zoom on the device where the meetings are missing. On Windows or macOS, open the Zoom desktop app, select your profile picture or initials in the top-right corner, then choose Check for Updates. If an update is available, install it, close Zoom fully, and reopen it. On Windows, also check the system tray near the clock and quit Zoom from there before reopening. On macOS, use Zoom > Quit Zoom from the menu bar to make sure the app restarts completely.
Recommended Free Tools
On iPhone, iPad, or Android, update Zoom through the device’s app store rather than inside the Zoom app. Open the App Store or Google Play Store, search for Zoom, and tap Update if it appears. After updating, force close the app and open it again. If the meeting list still does not appear, sign out of Zoom, restart the phone, then sign back in with the same account that owns or received the meeting invitations.
Reinstall Zoom if updating does not restore meetings
If the app is already up to date, reinstalling Zoom can clear damaged local files that a normal update may not replace. Before uninstalling, confirm you know how you sign in, such as email and password, Google, Apple, Facebook, SSO, or company-managed login. Reinstalling should not delete meetings from your Zoom account, but it will remove local app data and preferences from that device.
- Windows: Open Settings > Apps > Installed apps, find Zoom, choose Uninstall, then download the latest installer from the official Zoom Download Center.
- macOS: Open the Zoom app, choose zoom.us > Uninstall Zoom if available, or remove Zoom from the Applications folder, then install the latest version from Zoom’s website.
- iPhone or iPad: Press and hold the Zoom app icon, choose Remove App, reinstall it from the App Store, then sign in again.
- Android: Open Settings > Apps > Zoom > Uninstall, or uninstall it from Google Play, then reinstall the latest version.
After reinstalling, open Zoom and check Meetings before reconnecting extra calendar services. If meetings appear in the Zoom web portal but not in the app, the reinstall should force the app to download a fresh copy of your schedule. If they still do not show, compare the desktop app, mobile app, and web portal side by side. When only one device is affected, the issue is usually local to that device. When every device is missing the same meetings, the cause is more likely scheduling, invitation, account, or calendar configuration rather than the app installation.
Check Meeting Filters, Time Zone, and Date Settings
If Zoom is not showing upcoming meetings after you have refreshed the app and checked calendar sync, the meeting may be hidden by a view setting, an incorrect time zone, or a device date issue. Zoom sorts meetings by scheduled time, so even a small mismatch between your Zoom profile, calendar, computer, and phone can make a meeting appear in the wrong place, show under a different day, or seem missing entirely.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsCheck filters and meeting views in Zoom
Start by confirming that you are looking at the right meeting list. In the Zoom desktop app, select Meetings, then check whether you are viewing upcoming meetings rather than recorded, previous, or personal room details. If your organization uses mulle calendars or shared scheduling, look for tabs or sections that separate My Meetings, synced calendar events, and recurring meetings.
- On Windows or macOS, open Zoom, go to Meetings, and scroll through the full upcoming list instead of relying only on the first few items shown.
- On iPhone or Android, open the Zoom app, tap Meetings, and pull down to refresh the list.
- In the Zoom web portal, sign in at zoom.us, open Meetings, and check both Upcoming and Previous if the meeting time may have already passed in Zoom’s view.
- For recurring meetings, open the recurring meeting entry and check whether individual occurrences are collapsed under one main meeting.
Verify your Zoom time zone
A wrong Zoom time zone is one of the most common causes of meetings appearing at unexpected times. To check it, sign in to the Zoom web portal, open Profile, and find the Time Zone setting. Confirm it matches your current location or the time zone you normally use for scheduling. If you recently traveled, changed jobs, moved regions, or adjusted your calendar settings, update the Zoom time zone and save the change.
After changing the time zone, sign out of Zoom on your desktop or mobile app, then sign back in. This forces the app to reload your meeting schedule using the corrected profile settings. If the meeting was created before the time zone was fixed, open the meeting details in the Zoom web portal and confirm that its start time is still correct.
Check your device date, time, and calendar time zone
Your computer or phone can also affect how meetings appear, especially when Zoom is connected to Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar, or Microsoft 365. Make sure your device is using automatic date and time settings. On Windows, go to Settings > Time & language > Date & time and enable automatic time and time zone if appropriate. On macOS, open System Settings > General > Date & Time. On iPhone, check Settings > General > Date & Time. On Android, look under Settings > System > Date & time, though the exact path varies by device.
Next, compare the time zone in your connected calendar. In Google Calendar, open Settings and check the primary time zone. In Outlook or Microsoft 365, review calendar settings for time zone and working hours. If your calendar event uses one time zone while Zoom uses another, the meeting can display on a different date or farther down the upcoming list than expected. Once all settings match, refresh Zoom, reopen the calendar event, and confirm the meeting appears under the correct day and time.

Confirm the Meeting Was Scheduled or Invited Correctly
If Zoom is not showing an upcoming meeting after you have checked the account, refresh, calendar sync, app version, filters, and time zone, the meeting itself may not be attached to your Zoom account in the way you expect. Zoom only lists meetings you host, meetings synced from a connected calendar, or meetings associated with an invitation your account can access. A copied join link in an email, chat message, or document does not always make the meeting appear in the Meetings tab.
Check whether you are the host or an invitee
Start by confirming your role in the meeting. If you scheduled the meeting, sign in to the Zoom web portal and go to Meetings > Upcoming. If the meeting appears there but not in the desktop or mobile app, the issue is likely app sync rather than the meeting record. If it does not appear in the web portal, it may have been scheduled under a different Zoom account, deleted, or created without using Zoom’s scheduler.
If someone else scheduled the meeting, ask the host to confirm that your correct email address was added to the calendar invitation. This matters when you use mulle addresses, such as a work email, personal Gmail account, school account, or single sign-on address. If the invitation was sent to one email address but you are signed in to Zoom with another, the meeting may not show in your list even though the join link still works.
Verify the meeting details with the host
- Meeting ID: Ask the host to confirm the meeting ID has not changed, especially if the meeting was rescheduled or recreated.
- Date and time: Confirm the scheduled date, start time, recurrence pattern, and time zone.
- Calendar invite: Make sure the event still exists in Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar, or the organization’s calendar system.
- Zoom link: Check that the invite contains a valid Zoom join URL, not an old link from a previous meeting.
- Host account: If the host has multiple Zoom accounts, confirm which one was used to schedule the meeting.
For recurring meetings, open the calendar event and check whether you are viewing the correct occurrence. A host may edit only one instance, cancel a single occurrence, or replace a recurring series with a new Zoom meeting. In that case, older invitations can remain in your inbox while Zoom shows only the active meeting connected to the current event. If the host updated the event, accept the latest invitation and remove outdated duplicates from your calendar.
Resend or re-add the invitation
If the meeting should be visible but is still missing, ask the host to resend the invitation from the calendar event or from Zoom. For calendar-based invites, the host can remove your email address, save the event, add it again, and send an update. For Zoom-scheduled meetings, the host can open the meeting in the Zoom web portal, copy the invitation, and send it directly. After you receive the updated invite, accept it, refresh your calendar, then reopen Zoom and check the Meetings tab again.
If you only need to join and do not need the meeting to appear in your upcoming list, use the join link or enter the meeting ID manually in Zoom. However, for the meeting to display automatically, it must be scheduled under your Zoom host account, synced from a connected calendar, or linked to an invitation sent to the same email address you use with Zoom.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why are my Zoom meetings showing on my calendar but not in the Zoom app?
This usually means Zoom is not connected to the same calendar account, or the calendar integration has stopped syncing. In the Zoom desktop app, open your profile settings and check your calendar and contacts integration, then disconnect and reconnect Google Calendar, Outlook, or Microsoft 365 if needed. Also confirm you are signed into the same Zoom account that was used to schedule or accept the meeting.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →How do I refresh Zoom so upcoming meetings appear again?
On desktop, quit Zoom completely, reopen it, and check the Meetings tab again instead of only minimizing the app. On mobile, force close the Zoom app and relaunch it, then pull down on the meeting list if your device supports refresh. If the list is still empty, sign out and sign back in to force Zoom to reload your account data.
Why can I see my meeting link in email but not under Upcoming Meetings?
A meeting may not appear in your Zoom list if you were invited by email but the event was not added to your connected calendar. It can also happen if the host scheduled it from a different platform or sent only a join link instead of a proper calendar invitation. Add the event to your calendar, make sure that calendar is connected to Zoom, or use the join link directly from the email.
Can the wrong Zoom account hide my scheduled meetings?
Yes. If you have separate work, school, and personal Zoom accounts, meetings only appear under the account that scheduled them or received the calendar invite. Sign out of Zoom, sign back in using the correct email address or SSO option, and then check the Meetings tab again.
What should I do if Zoom still does not show upcoming meetings after syncing?
Check that your device time zone, calendar time zone, and Zoom profile time zone match, since mismatches can make meetings appear on the wrong date. Update Zoom to the latest version, then reinstall the app if the meeting list still does not load. You can also log in to the Zoom web portal and check the Meetings page to confirm whether the issue is with your account or only the app.
Bottom Line
If Zoom is not showing upcoming meetings, the cause is usually a sync delay, the wrong signed-in account, hidden filters, an outdated app, or a broken calendar connection. Start by confirming you are using the correct Zoom account, then refresh the Meetings tab, update the app, and check your calendar integration permissions.
If the meetings still do not appear, verify them in the Zoom web portal, reconnect your Google, Outlook, or Exchange calendar, and restart the app on desktop or mobile. Once the account, filters, and calendar sync are aligned, your upcoming meeting list should return quickly.
