No—Fitbit smartwatches have not disappeared from Google’s U.S. Store. Google prominently features Pixel Watch 5, but its current lineup also lists Fitbit Versa 4 and Sense 2. The choice is not simply Pixel Watch versus a discontinued Fitbit: it depends on whether you want a Google-app smartwatch, a Fitbit-branded watch, or a simpler tracker.
Are Fitbit smartwatches discontinued?
No. Google’s U.S. Store category page lists Fitbit Versa 4 and Fitbit Sense 2 alongside Pixel Watch 5, as well as Fitbit Charge 6, Inspire 3 and Ace LTE. That listing is evidence that these products appear in the current U.S. category; it does not establish stock, pricing, or availability in every region. Google’s watches and trackers category

The category page puts Pixel Watch 5 in the starring role, but that is not the same as announcing that Fitbit-branded watches have been discontinued. Google’s product lineup includes both Pixel-branded smartwatches and Fitbit-branded wearables.

Which Fitbit and Google wearables are still listed?
The listed products span distinct form factors. Pixel Watch 5 is a smartwatch with a display and Google apps; Charge 6 is a band-style tracker with a display; Fitbit Air is screenless. Google’s category page also names Versa 4, Sense 2, Inspire 3 and Ace LTE, but the accessible listing does not establish detailed specifications for each of those models. Google Store category

| Product | Form and features listed | Phone compatibility | Connectivity listed | Manufacturer-stated battery life |
|---|---|---|---|---|

Specifications in the table are from Google’s current U.S. Store category listing, observed in 2026; battery figures are Google’s stated maximums rather than measured endurance. The category also lists Versa 4, Sense 2, Inspire 3 and Ace LTE. A Google comparison search result additionally names Luxe, but its comparison page redirects to a region picker, so it does not establish detailed specifications or availability for those models. Is Pixel Watch replacing Fitbit?
The current U.S. listing supports a narrower conclusion: Pixel Watch 5 is Google’s prominently featured smartwatch, while Fitbit-branded watches and trackers remain listed. It does not establish that Fitbit watches are being discontinued or that Pixel Watch has replaced Fitbit across all markets. The accessible comparison page’s region picker and the broad category listing do not settle regional stock, prices, or the completeness of every country’s catalog. Should you buy a Fitbit or Pixel Watch?
Start with the form factor and phone you use, rather than the brand name alone:
- Choose Pixel Watch 5 if you use Android and want a display, Google apps, and Wi-Fi or LTE options in a smartwatch.
- Consider Fitbit Charge 6 if you want a display-equipped band-style tracker, Android or iOS compatibility, and Google’s listed seven-day maximum battery claim.
- Consider Fitbit Air if you want a screenless tracker and Android or iOS compatibility rather than a watch display and apps.
- Check the local store listing before deciding if you are considering Versa 4, Sense 2, Inspire 3, Ace LTE, or Luxe; the available listing does not establish their detailed specifications, regional availability, or prices.
Battery figures are not directly equivalent measures of typical use: Google states up to 40 hours for Pixel Watch 5 with always-on display and up to seven days for Fitbit Air and Charge 6, but those are manufacturer claims, not results from a shared test. Google’s listed phone compatibility also differs: Pixel Watch 5 is listed for Android, while Fitbit Air and Charge 6 are listed for both Android and iOS. Google Store category
