On Island 5, the reported route to a high-value roulette bet is to catch a valuable fish, cook it over lava, check its value with F, and reserve it for green only if you are willing to risk losing it. A green win is reported to return a sellable item—not cash—and the guides describe green as random, with no timing trick that guarantees a hit.
How the Island 5 roulette loop works
A third-party guide describes this sequence for the volcano area, also called Island 5. These mechanics have not been confirmed by official developer documentation, and the current patch status is unknown.

- Catch fish and identify the more valuable catches.
- Hold a catch over lava to cook it. The guide reports that cooking multiplies its value by 1.5.
- Press
Fto check the live value, as described by the guide. - Keep a cooked catch for a green wager only if its value reaches the amount you are prepared to risk.
- Sell lower-value catches normally to replenish funds for lures and further attempts.
- If green wins, collect the returned item and sell it if your goal is to meet the guide’s sale-value achievement threshold.
The reported win is an item that can be sold, rather than a cash payout. The relevant guide says this item can count toward both the All in achievement and the Rich! Millionaire achievement if its sale value qualifies and you actually sell it.

NerdsChalk’s 2026 guide reports a 35× green payout and describes Rich! Millionaire as requiring a sale of an item worth 100,000 or more. On those reported figures, 100,000 divided by 35 is about 2,858: the approximate minimum wager value needed for a returned item to reach 100,000. The guide recommends aiming for roughly 3,200 in cooked value as a buffer rather than cutting the threshold close. NerdsChalk’s roulette guide and its achievement guide provide these figures; they are guide-reported, not official or independently verified values.

That arithmetic assumes the reported multiplier and achievement threshold apply in your current version, and that the resulting item’s sale value follows the stated payout. Check the value displayed in-game rather than treating the calculation as a guarantee.
Why green is a risk, not a timing puzzle
AllThings describes green as one pocket in 37, while the other guide also characterizes the result as random. No official odds source or validated expected-value analysis was found, so treat the one-in-37 figure as a third-party guide claim, not a verified current probability. Neither guide supports a method for timing a spin to force green. AllThings’ guide to green bets and the Island 5 loop

Plan for losing attempts and decide what you can afford to put at risk before wagering. A high-value cooked catch may move you closer to the reported sale target on a win, but it is also a more consequential loss if the bet fails. Selling smaller catches to fund attempts is the lower-stakes approach described by the guide; it does not improve the chance of green.

The available descriptions are third-party guides, including a NerdsChalk article dated August 24, 2026. They describe the loop, the 35× return, the cooking multiplier, and the achievement threshold, but no primary developer documentation or patch notes were found to verify those mechanics. The current game version and whether the figures remain accurate are therefore unresolved. Treat them as reported guidance and confirm the live values in your game before risking a valuable catch.
