These features may matter more than the basic full-page option if you regularly archive multiple pages or need to mark up captures without switching tools.

How the full-page workflows differ
In either extension, open the webpage and initiate a capture from the extension. In Awesome Screenshot, select the browser-specific full-page command named above. In FireShot, choose its full-page capture mode; use visible-area or selected-area capture when you need only part of the page. The available steps and labels can differ by browser and extension version, so follow the current in-product interface if it does not match these names.

Full-page capture is not the same as a guarantee of a perfect rendering. Pages with dynamic content, lazy-loaded images, or unusual scrolling behavior can produce incomplete or inconsistent captures. Review the result before treating it as a complete record, particularly for long pages or material that must be preserved accurately.

Storage, privacy and plan limits
FireShot’s Chrome listing describes screenshots as stored locally. That is a vendor/store description, not an independent security audit. Awesome Screenshot says cloud-saved screenshots are accessible from the user’s account, while local captures should be downloaded promptly if auto-download is not enabled: the help center warns that a capture may be lost when its tab or window closes.
