Fireborn and Lost Fantasy are set to cross over for the first time in Fireborn #5 and Lost Fantasy #13, both reported for release on October 28, 2026. The preview centers on a clash between Aaron and Henry, but reveals few details about how the fight fits into either series.
What the crossover is about
ComicBook.com’s October 2, 2026 report describes the story as Fireborn’s confrontation with Lost Fantasy, with Aaron and Henry colliding. The preview offers a glimpse of their clash rather than a detailed account of the plot, so readers should not expect it to explain the fight’s full context.

As relayed by ComicBook.com, Image described the approach as “like Rashomon but with Dragons and Giant Swords”—a framing that suggests the shared conflict will be told through two stories. The report does not provide further details about how the perspectives differ.

Where to start if you are new to Fireborn
Fireborn Volume One is also reported for release on October 28, 2026. Pires recommended it as an entry point, followed by the two crossover issues for readers who want to see what comes next. He said readers could “buy the first volume of Fireborn and then both these issues and check them out, see what the next step in the storytelling is”.

- Start with Fireborn Volume One for an entry into that series.
- Read Fireborn #5 and Lost Fantasy #13 to follow the crossover.
The report does not establish the volume’s format, price, or retailer availability. Readers who want to begin with the crossover can use the two issues, but the preview itself supplies little plot context.

ComicBook.com describes Lost Fantasy as a video-game-inspired alternate history where monsters, myth, and magic exist beneath the surface of the ordinary world. A natural disaster more than a century earlier created a schism through which monsters can break through.
