Find it under Settings > About phone > Status information > SIM card status. If you use two SIMs, select the line the carrier is asking about. A physical SIM’s ICCID may also be printed on the SIM or its carrier activation card.
Find the ICCID in Galaxy Settings

Open Settings.

Tap About phone, then Status information.

Tap SIM card status and look for ICCID.

If the phone has more than one line, choose the relevant SIM entry, such as SIM 1 or an eSIM, and check that line’s ICCID.

The exact labels and fields can differ by Galaxy model and software version. If you cannot find the path, search Settings for “SIM card status.” Samsung notes that menu names and screen layouts vary by model and software version (Samsung support).
What “SIM number” means—and what it does not

ICCID: The unique identifier assigned to a SIM; this is what carriers usually mean by the SIM number.

Phone number: The number used to call or message the line. It is separate from the ICCID and is not a substitute when a carrier asks for the SIM number.

IMEI: An identifier for the phone itself, not for the SIM. Do not provide the IMEI when the carrier specifically requests the SIM number.

Where to look by SIM type
Physical SIM
Check the Settings status screen first. If it does not show the ICCID, the number may be printed on the SIM or on the carrier’s activation card. This fallback depends on the SIM and carrier materials, so it is not guaranteed. If you remove the SIM, follow the device’s instructions and do not force the tray or insert the card incorrectly.

eSIM
On supported Galaxy models, the status screen may show an eSIM entry or let you select a line before displaying its ICCID. If the ICCID is not available there, ask your carrier for the ICCID associated with that specific eSIM line. Samsung’s eSIM availability varies by country, carrier, and model; eSIM setup and line management are generally found at Settings > Connections > SIM manager (called SIM card manager on some software versions) (Samsung Canada eSIM guidance; Samsung Australia SIM and eSIM guidance).

Return to Settings > About phone > Status information > SIM card status and check whether another SIM or eSIM entry is available.

If you have two lines, confirm that you selected the one your carrier is asking about.

For a physical SIM, check the card or its activation materials if the phone does not display the ICCID.

For an eSIM—or if the number remains unavailable—contact the carrier and request the ICCID for the specific line.

If the phone does not recognize the SIM at all, use Samsung’s SIM-status troubleshooting guidance and check with your carrier that the line and SIM are active (Samsung SIM troubleshooting).
Samsung’s route to SIM status is a useful diagnostic starting point, but it does not guarantee that every Galaxy variant will display an ICCID. Carrier instructions for specific models, such as AT&T’s Galaxy S25 ICCID steps, may show the labels used on that device.
