Start outside Whiterun near the Whiterun Stables: that is Bethesda’s recommended place to look for Ri’saad and his Khajiit caravan. If the group is not there, check the Khajiit camp near Markarth. Ri’saad travels between the two cities, so neither location guarantees he will be present at a particular time.
Where to look first in Whiterun
- Travel to the Whiterun Stables, outside the city.
- Search the area around the stables for Ri’saad and the caravan. Bethesda identifies the area outside Whiterun near the stables as the best place to find him in its Saints & Séducteurs support guidance.
- If the caravan is absent, check the Khajiit camp near Markarth, or return to the Whiterun stable area later.
The official guidance is about Ri’saad’s encounter in Skyrim Special Edition’s Saints & Seducers Creation; it recommends places to check, not a guaranteed location at all times. The reviewed sources do not establish a reliable arrival schedule or a specific wait duration.

How to recognize Ri’saad’s caravan
Ri’saad’s group travels between Whiterun and Markarth. The Skyrim Wiki’s Ri’saad entry names Atahbah, Khayla, and Ma’randru-jo as fellow caravan members. Seeing them with Ri’saad can help confirm you have found the right group.

In Skyrim Special Edition, Bethesda’s Saints & Séducteurs instructions say to speak to Ri’saad and read the note he gives you. Reading it starts the Balance of Power questline. For this objective, check the Whiterun Stables area first; the Markarth Khajiit camp is the alternative location Bethesda identifies.
